Refunds for Cancelled Airbnb bookings outside of free cancellation periods are not captured at all
Currently, when an Airbnb guest cancels their stay outside of their free cancellation period (ours is Firm), the reservation is not updated with the correct payout information. We need to capture the cancelled bookings earnings in our reports.
We tried to used the filter in reports to not screen the Cancelled Lead status. This was not a fix because in doing this the total cost of the reservation is displayed rather than the actual payout after the cancelation policy was applied, so, the total cost of the cancelled booking is included in the earnings report, obviously not good.
I also tried the "Order Adjustment" to add a Rent Adjustment but this doesnt change the service fee or taxes.
We need the actual payout information from cancelled Airbnb bookings to be pushed out to Hostfully so that we can properly report the earnings from these cancelled bookings so that;
1. we remain transparent to our owners.
2. Can report all taxable earnings to the government.

This issue continues to plague us for reporting. If an Airbnb booking is cancelled with a full refund, the booking amounts should be zeroed out as nothing was kept. And if we include cancelled status bookings in monthly reporting, then the data is wrong as it includes funds that we did not receive.
Additionally, if a guest cancells within the non-refundable window but Airbnb refunds the cleaning fee, that change is also not reflected in the booking data yet it was funds that were never collected.
Instead of reports being simple, scalable and saving time this means that we have to do a CSV download and manually manipulate the data, referencing the Airbnb platform directly for accurate info. This not only causes issues with financial reports but also makes Owner Statements impossible to use. Accurate booking data should be a non-negotiable.

This is a complaint airbnb has from non channel manager hosts. I thought they fixed it, but there didn't used to be an easy way to tie a resolution center transaction to a specific booking.
I think there is now, so hopefully it's available though the resolution center api, but we need this info for both debits and credits.
