Mobile app for Hostfully
I looked for phone apps to help me and there are absolutely none that are simple and clear like yours.
And since i use yours on my desktop i would love t to continue with you. Have it all sinked. Especially that I am not often
in front of my desktop. But more with my phone. Definitely looking forward to having it!!!

Omnichannel view of reservations including ability to see reservation details, guest info, guest communications, ability to see pricing as well as amend pricing/send quotes.
Create different profile views - cleaner, owner, handyman, property manager - all with various access levels based on profile.
Reservations should trigger calendar reminders/notifications.

We would appreciate a list of properties with a daily summary and
*the ability to click through on a specific property and see all upcoming reservations in date order in a list
*from there, click through and see a specific arrival date with guest name, email and phone number
*from there, click through to text the guests or email them directly from the detail infoMANY times, I am working remote and only have my phone and I need to glance at a summary to determine: another property for the same dates, contact the guest by text or email real quick, reference access info (this is HUGE if you have many properties)
Currently, I can not do any of the above without extreme difficulties and lots of time to do it -

Single property view with search/filter in the v1 is perfectly fine with us, as long as it works reliably.

Thank you for all your suggestions of what's most needed in the mobile app, your feedback is highly valuable.
A follow up question regarding the calendar in the app v1:
- is the multi property calendar view critical for your business,
- or checking the calendar of single properties (with filters/search) good enough as a start?

I agree with Eddie. A simple reliable app even without too many features will make a huge difference.
For us also, being able to look up contact info and reservation details of current staying guests and future reservations is the number one priority. -

Hands down the most important feature is an easy-to-read multi calendar, with the ability to click on reservations and pull up important reservation info (door code, guest phone number, etc.). If the app did nothing else, that alone would be a huge help. Next in priority would be access to the unified inbox, with push notification ability for messages. If message templates are also available in the app that would help reduce time spent typing, which is even more important on a small mobile screen than on desktop.
Other feedback is to spend less time on features for the mobile app than on making the app very reliable. Most other PMS apps fail because they are unreliable, not because they are missing features. Don’t make that mistake. A reliable, simple app with a user friendly interface would be an instant differentiator amongst PMS.

Lack of a mobile app, or at least a mobile experience of the web app, is one of the main reasons I'm considering other PMS options. Any update on where this stands?

The website is almost impossible to read from a phone. It's hard for me to believe there isn't a mobile friendly version of the site with such a sophisticated platform.

Thank you for the ideas, feedback and votes. Improving the mobile experience is a top priority for us. We understand how crucial it is to work on smaller devices and we want to help you accomplish this. We don't have an ETA for improvements, but we have buy-in from leadership on prioritizing this and are currently scoping the work involved. I'll circle back with updates as they become available.
