Custom Cancellation for VRBO
Add "Custom" cancellation policy as an option for VRBO. Custom cancellation policy would allow us to withhold payment processing fees for cancellations. Without this, we don't have a way to withhold payment processing fees and must refund them.

We just lost almost $500 in processing fees for a HUGE booking and it made me sick, especially because the guest booked and canceled within 24 hours. That was $500 just thrown down the drain for nothing....

Why is this even in the suggestion box ???? Most if not all other property management software ALREADY have this feature !!! How about stepping up and helping out your paying subscribers from unfairly losing the 3.9% cc fee (2.9 stripe,1% Hostfully) , what is the reason for stalling on helping protect your subscribers Hostfully? Hostfully still gets their 1% that they unfairly hang on to , so what do you have to lose Hostfully ????
C'mon Hostfully ,get real and get this implemented asap

Additionally... allow setting custom rules on VRBO. Currently no custom rule settings push to the VRBO listing and if rules are entered on VRBO instead, Hostfully overrides the changes and deletes them. VRBO is now charging hosts that cancel bookings due to rule or local regulation violations and we cannot enforce rules that are not communicated to guests. We also cannot enforce "Credit Card Processing Fees are Non-refundable" rules that are not displayed on the listing.

I was unaware that this is occurring! Why not go after Stripe for this policy? It seems it would be illegal for them to withhold processing fees on a refund of any kind! Maybe Hostfully needs to search for a more honest payment processor. At any rate, we should be able to give discounts for paying by ACH and charge convenience fees for using CCs like everyone else does these days.

Payment processing fees are not refunded by the merchant (Stripe etc.) when a guest cancels a reservation. Thus we need the ability to reduce these amounts from the refund payout so we are not losing more $ on a refunded reservation.
This feature is available on several other PMS platforms and would critically help small and large hosts alike.

Guests are abusing cancellation policies more and more, and we can't keep paying $400 credit card fees for the privilege of having dates blocked and then abandoned
Several other PMS options have this feature and we need Hostfully to add it ASAP

Guest booked for 2 prime months. paid first half, decided to cancel on the last possible day., I do have a host cancelation policy in my listings. Vrbo would not honor my policy and has hidden my listing until I pay the guest back the 4% that our payment processor charged at the tune of almost $400.. big deal for small business.
