  1. n Florida’s Gulf Coast, sea turtle nesting season runs from May through October. During these months, I’d like to automatically share turtle safety guidelines with guests by enabling a seasonal message trigger for reservations that fall within this timeframe.

    I think there are other templates that would benefit from seasonal triggers

  2. For some reason, there is now a character limit on departure checklist items for the guidebook. The character limit is extremely small to allow for elaboration on certain check out for departure related items. Most check out items need further explanation and this is very prohibitive for streamline checkouts. The guest is not able to view further elaboration and can just you a cut off message instead.

  3. Currently, Hostfully only supports adjustments tied to owners and properties. However, many agencies also need to track and reconcile agency-wide expenses that are not connected to a specific property or owner.

    Examples include:

    Hostfully subscription fees

    Inventory purchases used across multiple properties

    Invoices paid directly by the agency (e.g., software, utilities, maintenance contracts)

    Having a way to enter, categorize, and report these agency-level adjustments would provide a more complete financial picture for monthly reconciliation.

  4. Notification when owners edit existing booking dates.

    We get notified when an owner makes a booking through our emails. We do not get notified if the owner changes the booking date. For example, if they add on an extra night, we won't know unless we check the calendar every day.

  5. During onboarding we setup a 4% credit card processing fee to cover the 2.9% Stripe charge and the 1% hostfully charge. These fees are based on the entire amount of the reservation but the way that Hostfully collects only applies to the accommodation fare and nothing else. This fee rule was setup as "per stay", I have since changed it to "entire preservation" but when I did this the mapping drop downs for integration channels blocked out.

  12. I have an increasing amount of bookings coming in via HomeToGo. There used to be a link (sync of calendar + prices + descriptions etc.) with them, but this is no longer the case.
    I would like to see this coming back as now there is a lot of manual input necessary to make sure I have all bookings in once place (Hostfully) and have my messages and triggers automated.

  13. The long-term exemption in property setting page is only supported for tax rate, not cleaning fee tax rate while it should apply it for both.

    Or if there is another same field for cleaning fee tax, that would be great.

  14. The mobile app needs to become as useable as the website. We were previously with Guesty and we were able to do everything from the app that we could do on the website. We can't even cancel or delete reservations from the app so having to wait until you get to a computer, which can be a couple days if you work in an office, is just not convenient. I want to be able to create or add a listing, edit triggers and templates, etc.

  16. It would be incredibly helpful to add the ability to search by property address in the search bar on the Property page. Currently, users can search by property name or UID, and use tags and filters for things like status, amenities, type, location, or sort by creation date or alphabetically.

    However, for accounts managing multiple listings within the same city or neighborhood, being able to search by address (e.g., street name, number, or full address) would make locating properties faster and more efficient.

  17. For mid-term rentals: integrate with rental listing sites like ZILLOW and AVAIL.

    Pretty much just for the availability! It is annoying to have to "confirm availability" for both Zillow and Avail AND update the availability separate from Hostfully.

  18. Property Managers need a way to cancel a booking and release the dates, but keep the original guest financially responsible until the dates are rebooked.

    If the dates are successfully rebooked, the system should allow applying a penalty and refunding the balance directly from the cancelled order.
    If the dates are not rebooked, the original guest remains responsible for the full booking amount.

  19. it would be very helpful because owners that live on site or who have stays for friends and family without charging them still need to pay for cleaning that is required by for the next check-in. Without a custom fee that can be automatically added, I have to go back and manually review the calendar for all of those owner blocks and manually add owner adjustments every time this happens.

  20. In the previous version (V2), it was really easy to see which photos were mapped to each room in the Where you'll sleep section. Everything was laid out clearly, and I could tell at a glance which photos were assigned or missing room tags.

    With V3, it's a lot more time-consuming. I have to click "Edit" on every single photo just to check if it’s linked to a room or not. This gets very tedious, especially when there are a lot of photos. It also makes it harder to troubleshoot or manage the listings efficiently.
