  1. We'd like to export invoices (orders) from the first quarter of 2024 for all the guests that outline everything that they paid. We need the visual of the order not just the information aggregated into a report

  2. As the logo is so small, if there's text in the logo, the text is often almost impossible to see. Also, it may help if there were a separate logo field to upload the logo image for the direct booking site on the direct booking website tab, instead of pulling it from the agency settings. That way, we could select a logo maybe without text .

  3. When the security deposit is automatically released, the guest only gets an email. There’s no way to notify them through the platform they booked on, like VRBO or Booking.com. That’s a big gap in communication.

    We try to keep everything in one place so guests aren’t confused, and this forces us to rely on email when many guests don’t check it. We should be able to trigger a message through the booking channel when the deposit is returned, just like we can for check-in instructions or thank-you messages.

    This really needs to be fixed.

    Thank you for voting on the idea to duplicate templates and triggers. I'm excited to share that this feature is currently under development.


    In the coming weeks, we’re opening a beta (early access release) to a select group of customers. If you’d like early access, just reply with “I’m in”. When it’s ready in the next few weeks, we’ll enable it on your account.


    What’s included in the beta?


    We’ve added new functionality to Templates & Triggers to help you save time. In this beta, you’ll get early access to:

    * improved search, navigation, and filtering

    Your existing templates and triggers will continue to work as they do today and will be automatically migrated. As part of the beta, we’d ask that you:

  5. We need a way of being able to pull through an adjustment that either includes VAT or not. At the minute everything pulled through doesn't show whether VAT has been applied or not. I have managed a way of setting this up but it is by default applying VAT to every input - frustrating and a fundamental flaw.

  6. It would be fantastic to have access to historical pricing data for the nights that went empty in our portfolio. Bonus: include pricing data for nights that were booked. Best would be to have a CSV download so we can do our own analysis outside of Hostfully. For booked nights, would be great to include the date the reservation was booked so we could see the impact pacing has on accepted price. The customer problem here: we don't have great visibility to pricing for nights in the past - if we priced too high, there's not a ton of data…

  7. Apologies if this has already been asked, I couldnt find it.

    Please can we add the filter option in pipeline "property tag". This is extremely helpful in the calendar view (so I can filter my properties by the location tag), and would be extremely helpful in the pipeline view so we can filter out properties by area managers.

    At the moment the manager filter doesn't work (perhaps the way our set up is), but it doesn't filter correctly for us.

    We are requesting the addition of a booking date variable in the system, specifically to insert the date of the first payment (i.e., the initial booking confirmation) into guest receipts and booking communications.

    This date is not only important for guest records and travel insurance purposes but is also a requirement under the Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) guidelines. TICO mandates that travel agencies provide accurate transaction documentation, including the date on which the booking or first payment was made.

  9. Currently, we are only allowed to offer percent discounts, or figure discounts to a promo code, but I would like to allow some of my VIP repeater guests the privilege of having a lower minimum night stay during peak periods, say, minimum 2 nights instead of my usual minimum 4.

  11. As standard we take the security deposit/ balance from guests at 60 days before arrival. However, on booking.com their terms are different and the deposits aren't taken until 14 days before arrival.

    We would like a way to stop their balance showing as outstanding and 'red ring' on our pipeline until their payment is actually due

  12. As a property manager, I want the auto 2nd payment balance to be rescheduled whenever I update the split payment settings on the property settings page. This ensures that payment handling for leads is automatically adjusted based on the updated settings, maintaining accuracy and reducing manual intervention.

    Current Behavior: When the split payment settings are updated on the property’s main settings page, the payment handling for the associated lead is not rescheduled. However, updating the lead directly in the lead modal correctly triggers the rescheduling of the payment due handling.

  14. We are finding that some guests will upload a selfie or a piece of ID without a photo (even after explaining this in the message.)
    Currently, we have to contact Hostfully to reset the pre arrival form as we cannot reset it or request that the guest complete it again.
