  1. I got an email saying that a payment had failed, but giving no additional information about the lead. I want to see more info so that I can find the lead and follow up with payment.

  4. The reason the prospect is not moving forward with transitioning from Guesty to Hostfully is due to not having grandchild listing. We have parent child listing, but Guesty allows you to have parent/child/grandchild listing which she needs.

  5. Hi team,

    At the moment, the system doesn't support splitting 2nd payment into 2 or more payments.

    As a workaround, users should:
    1. Create manual payment link from Stripe > send to the guest
    2. Once the guest pays, Record a payment manually from Pipeline
    3. When the 2nd payment is due, the payment link will be sent to the guest with the correct amount

    That seems like a very overly-complicated way to handle this very simple use case. We would love to have an option to bill card on file and apply to balance feature to the platform.

  6. "Percentage at reservation" from Property Settings => Main settings tab, for example 30% at reservation and collect balance at 15 days prior to checkin date => this variable "Percentage at reservation" will pull 30%

    "Deposit amount" means the amount guest has to paid at reservation. For example percentage amount at Property Settings => Main settings tab is 30% and guest's booking total without Security deposit is $1000 so this variable "Deposit amount" pulls 30% * 1000$ = 300$

    As of now, only native Hostfully Direct Booking Site has those fields for search widget.

  10. It would be nice if there was a drop down for payments received. Instead of only saying charge, maybe it should say Payment or Refund and an additional box that says "Payment Type" (Check/Check#, Credit Card, Other".

  13. Similar requests have been made on this portal, and marked as "functionality already exists." However no explanation has been provided, and as far as I can tell there is no documentation on how to accomplish this.

    There is a way to add tags to guests in the "my-clients" page, but this tag does not seem to do anything. It is not visible on the guests reservation, and is not a filterable variable for reporting, or a triggerable element for messaging. Therefore the ability to simply tag guests is entirely worthless.

    What is needed is a system where you can flag…

  17. Can you PLEASE set up an integration with Rental Guardian? They provide great insurance for short-term rental hosts and guests. They will also provide insurance for properties in Canada now too. Everything you currently have is for US only (I have called them). As a Canadian Host, I would really like to have a seamless way to have extra coverage for my direct bookings.

  18. At the moment, it's not possible to set a trigger condition to send automatic message whenever there's a query from a certain period of time, saying that no one is available to answer query for example.

    It'd be nice if we can set auto message when we set "away".

  19. An owners block should come over as a reservation instead of a block. You can even have custom messaging to confirm their stay or confirm cancelation of an owners block etc. This would make things more automated.

  20. Having a trigger to send a message to guests at a specific date would be helpful for seasonal newsletters as well as recurring things that are date specific such as yearly events, date that kayaks are removed, date that indoor fireplaces are opened up.
