  1. Would it be possible to forward messages from a guest who booked through an external site to Hostfully?
    I'm referring to the Create Message endpoint: https://dev.hostfully.com/v3.0/reference/createmessage-1.
    Could you provide suggestions on whether the Create Message endpoint could support sending messages with a status of "CREATED"? Currently, it only supports "SENT," which is always treated as sent by the property owner/manager.

  11. Problem: One of the tabs on the owners portal is "Inbox", where owners can send messages to us. When we respond to a message via email – so the owner gets a notification of the new response – the owner has no ability to respond from the email and has to be trained that replys to the email are ignored by hostfully and go nowhere. No error message, no warning, just looks like we're ignoring them.

    My idea is to do one of the following:

    • Add text to the sent email that replys need to be sent via the inbox,…

    We will fix this. Now, please note that, while most modern devices and SMS apps will display line breaks as intended, older devices or certain carrier systems may ignore line breaks and display the message as a single block of text.

  16. we would appreciate it if we could send pre-approval quotes through hostfully. The vrbo algorithm gives you boosts when you pre-approve renters so having the feature is not only convenient for the renter but also helps promote our listings in the long run.

  17. I would like to avoid showing the location of certain properties with too much accuracy until the booking is confirmed. Until the /search page was added there was no way to see exactly where the property was, but now you can zoom in very close on the search page and see exactly where the properties are, even sometimes which part of a multi-unit building the unit is.

    The map on the property details doesn't seem to have ever shown the exact location of the property, which seems like the right design if you're not going to make it configurable.

  18. Ability to group taxes on the guest interface, so it would not show as separate items. It could be a deterrent because the guest might feel overhelmed seeing they are paying alot of taxes.

  19. The issue is new property on Booking.com requires no prepayment and full refund policy until they clarify the listing so changing it from Channel level will affect all other listings. Really inconvenient.
