  1. Even though you can use custom data fields in the email body, it appears that you cannot use them i the subject line. This seems like an oversight.

  2. I would like to see all owners under the Owners Tab without having to click on the first letter of their first name or search in the search box. The search box and the alphabet option should only be a filter option when you have dozens of owners.

  3. This would make things easier if the client is doing their books on a cash basis vs. an accrual basis.
    Currently, the sales receipts are pushed over when the sale is made, not when the cash is received, which is the accrual method.
    What I have to do, currently, is adjust every sales receipt to the check-in date. If a guest purchases a stay in 2023, for example, but doesn’t check in until 2024, all of those taxes, fees, rental amounts, etc., paid out to the host have to be adjusted.
    Matching the check-in date would automatically put the amounts…

  4. Would it be possible to submit a feature request to add a “default block” to a calendar where you just selectively unblock dates similar to the feature that airbnb has? It really is very helpful for properties in which the host lives most of the time but just wants to unblock for certain dates. I would love to see this feature in Hostfully.

  6. We offer a lower commission rate on stays that acquired by our home owners. Since these are all entered in manually it would be great to have the option to change the commission rate when creating a booking so that the calculations will shake out in the reports rather than us having to track these stays and break it down after we run reports.

  7. Make all sections of a listing page as moveable widgets so that an operator/manager can decide how to order the information on public listing page. This will greatly improve marketability and ensure that the information that guests find most important is closest to the top. For instance, after "Description" should come "The Space," "The Neighborhood," and then "Other Things to Note" far below the fold -- closer to the House Rules Section.

  8. Make both Email addresses for a guest, (Client information) active. Not just the one with a red star. This is so if two guest want to get all notices, both emails will get them.

  9. At the moment, leads from TA are imported by iCal. And iCal leads are considered as blocks so triggers don't work at all.

    It would be much appreciated if we can communicate with TA leads from iCal.

  10. It would be valuable to add additional variables the the Review templates we use.

    I manage multiple properties and like to mention in the review how many guests stayed and the name of the property.

    I currently am not using this feature due to this limitation and it was one of the reasons I signed up for Hostfully.

  11. Guest portal should show 'Statement' information even for Vacation Rent Payment users. This feature is currently not working for those who use VRP - maybe just pull order_statement merge field to fill that information. I have many guests who ask for this info and who attempt to use guest portal but it doesn't populate.

  12. Right now, the only credit card information asked on the current payment processor work flow is card number, CVC and expiration date. Anyone with a stolen credit card can use this to pay and we have seen an increase in fraud chargebacks.

    We are requesting to add additional required fields in the payment page such as billing zip code, billing address, and card name to help filter out some fraud purchases.

  13. Add the "Properties" button to the main menu buttons, it is being used constantly and should have direct access rather than through a drop-down menu, ideally to have a drop-down menu where you can just pick your property instead of scrolling them down.

  17. On my direct marketing I want to include a promo code but I don't want to allow certain dates to be booked with this code i.e. peak times.

    It would be great if I could select one or more date groups to exclude.

    - Occupancy report: will provide nights booked, number of bookings, occupancy rate, ... per property.

    The overall analytics project is still in progress:

    - Overall Analytics: this will provide overall KPIs for all your agency's properties. This is currently in the design phase - any suggestions/ideas are welcome!
