  3. The calendar on the direct booking site doesn't allow you to select dates, view pricing or click on dates to make a booking and just seems to be for display only.

    This functionality (like the calendar widget), would greatly improve user journey.

  4. Property Managers need a way to cancel a booking and release the dates, but keep the original guest financially responsible until the dates are rebooked.

    If the dates are successfully rebooked, the system should allow applying a penalty and refunding the balance directly from the cancelled order.
    If the dates are not rebooked, the original guest remains responsible for the full booking amount.

  6. For Example, Bob Smith is bringing 3 children and an infant. I would like to set a trigger to send him a message 4 days before he checks in to see if he needs a highchair.
    This message is just for Bob, not everyone who books a particular house, or channel, etc.

    If there is a way to do this please provide instructions. According to Flash there is not a way to do this already.

  7. it would be very helpful because owners that live on site or who have stays for friends and family without charging them still need to pay for cleaning that is required by for the next check-in. Without a custom fee that can be automatically added, I have to go back and manually review the calendar for all of those owner blocks and manually add owner adjustments every time this happens.

  8. For some reason, there is now a character limit on departure checklist items for the guidebook. The character limit is extremely small to allow for elaboration on certain check out for departure related items. Most check out items need further explanation and this is very prohibitive for streamline checkouts. The guest is not able to view further elaboration and can just you a cut off message instead.

    When clicking on a listing on the Hostfully Direct Booking Site, whether from the search results or the Featured Properties list, the listing opens in a new browser tab.

    2/ Feedback / Suggested Improvement:
    It may be more efficient and user-friendly to have the listing open in the same tab, allowing users to view a property and easily return to the search results or Featured Properties list without needing to manage multiple tabs.

  10. The mobile app needs to become as useable as the website. We were previously with Guesty and we were able to do everything from the app that we could do on the website. We can't even cancel or delete reservations from the app so having to wait until you get to a computer, which can be a couple days if you work in an office, is just not convenient. I want to be able to create or add a listing, edit triggers and templates, etc.

  12. The way pet fees are currently set up needs to change. Having “Pets” listed as an optional add-on before payment is misleading. It comes across as if the fee is a donation rather than a requirement, which gives guests the impression they can simply choose not to add it.

    This is not how a required fee should function. The system should prompt guests to indicate upfront whether they are bringing pets when selecting guest count. If they are, the pet fee should automatically apply as part of the booking.

  13. We would like the ability to set a flat monthly rate for properties, rather than relying solely on nightly rates. This would allow guests to book accommodations on a monthly basis at a fixed price (e.g., $2,100/month), which is especially useful for mid- to long-term stays.

  14. At the moment the current Hostfully booking widget has some limitations with Boostly Integration, so we wanted to see if it would be possible to add the following:
    • Children field with an optional Age input
    • Dropdown for age range: Infant / Toddler / Young Adult
    • Pets option (checkbox or dropdown)
    • Age of children field (if possible, a simple text input)

  18. With the new Promo Codes endpoint, we now have the capability to retrieve/manage promo codes. However, we are currently unable to apply a promo code when generating a quote or lead.

    The PM requires the functionality to pass a promo code when retrieving a quote, in order to accurately display the price breakdown to the customer and initiate the checkout process.

  20. I have an increasing amount of bookings coming in via HomeToGo. There used to be a link (sync of calendar + prices + descriptions etc.) with them, but this is no longer the case.
    I would like to see this coming back as now there is a lot of manual input necessary to make sure I have all bookings in once place (Hostfully) and have my messages and triggers automated.
