  6. In "Notifying the owner about new booking" template, I want to apply more variables about the order than the current existing one.

    E.g Rental Revenue: [{ORDERBASEAMOUNT}-{COMMISSIONOTATOTAL}+{ADJUSTMENTRENT}+{EXTRAGUESTFEEAMOUNT}+{PAYMENTPROCESSINGFEE}]

    But currently, the template variables only support some basic order details.

  8. I would recommend Hostfully to immediately search and show a drop down of existing guests after we start typing the guests' first or last name, to match with existing records. Usually when we need to create manual bookings, chances are they are returning guests. And after clicking the name we chose, auto populate the remaining fields such as email, address, phone number, etc.

  10. I wanted to explain why the ability to schedule messages after booking confirmation is so important for VRBO reservations.

    Because VRBO requires the PMS to act as the merchant of record, all payments are processed through our Stripe account. Stripe’s processing fees are non-refundable, so once a guest’s payment is captured, those fees can’t be returned — unless the property manager absorbs the cost.

    To handle this fairly, my solution is to delay the payment until the guest understands this policy. My plan is:

    When a guest books, they immediately receive a confirmation message explaining the processing-fee policy.

    At the moment, there is no centralized place in the platform where I can see sync issues related to LOS discounts or other pricing-related data. This lack of visibility makes it difficult to know when something is wrong.

    Recently, I encountered two separate sync issues across different listings that I only discovered after manually checking my Airbnb listings.   13. Most properties prefer me to block dates for them, so we as property managers in the main (or principal) user, should be able to block dates and pick the option of owner block so we get the same purple color as when they block.

To significantly improve calendar and mobile functionality, we request two key updates: 1) Implement an "Expand All Properties" button on the main calendar to instantly display all unit bookings, eliminating the need for tedious manual expansion and allowing hosts to quickly view inventory across the entire portfolio. 2) Integrate the "Rebook/Extend Stay" feature into the mobile app, allowing hosts to rapidly create an extension booking for current guests from any location, enhancing efficiency and improving responsiveness to guest requests.

  19. Enable Hostfully to automatically collect and remit taxes for direct bookings, similar to what some competitors (e.g. Hospitable Direct Premium) currently offer.
    For direct bookings, Hostfully allows users to configure and charge taxes, but the responsibility of filing and remitting those taxes remains fully manual.
    Automatic tax collection and remittance would be a major value add and a true “game changer” for direct bookings
