  1. Guests would like to have the ability to see the booking statuses such as Inquiry or Confirmed. They also would like to see how much they have paid and the outstanding balance prior to arrival.

  2. At least 85% of our guests book via our direct booking website. The majority of them stay with us for 2-6 months. They always want to pay for just 1 month at a time, but Hostfully requires them to pay for the entire stay up front. This scares some potential guests away because even though we explain that we can manually just charge them for 1 month at a time, all they see is the huge total amount for the entire stay when they do a search for their dates.   3. On the Booking page, can you move the link placement of "show details" to be directly under the quoted rate? Guests who want the rate breakdown overlook this awesome feature because the Book Now button is more prominent. Then they click the Book Now to see the rate breakdown when they are just trying to figure out date and rates.

  4. The primary contact on Booking.com needs to be the booking agent not the Admin of the Hostfully Account.
    At least remove the syncronization so we can enter the good information because when I make the change it went back the next day.

    The customer contact me instead of the agent. It doesnt make sens.

  6. The current Hostfully layout is not full screen and the font is small and light in colour.
    Having light grey writing on a white background makes it incredibly hard to read without looking closer.
    I think it would be great to have bolder/darker and bigger writing making it easier to read. It would also be great if the Hostfully software can fit entirely on the screen instead of just down the middle.
    Having these aspects enhanced would make for a more efficient work day, without any eyestrain! :)

  7. While looking at the calendar for dates that aren't booked yet, would be nice to be able to toggle some shading for rates/colors. I use it to help adjust my Dynamic Pricing (DPGO for me) to see where I might have a property over/under priced.
    Would be nice to have a few brackets can set the amount and color. 0-200 - Yellow, 201-400 - Green, 400+ Red.

  8. Hi there. I'm using Stripe as a payment processor. I have added a Credit card processing fee 4% but it is only applies to RENT but not to all amount like Cleaning fee, taxes or pet fee, etc. I end up paying hundreds of dollars out of my pocket every month plus I receiving questions from the owners.

  9. Eliminate the need to manually report and pay for taxes collected through our merchant account through third party applications like Avalara Mylodge Tax. Please create an API with Avalara to report and pay for monthly State and local taxes. This functionality already exists with VRBO but it is not available if you're an integrated property.

  10. At present, the reservation notes feature is extremely limited in Hostfully. Here are a couple of things that would greatly improve this feature from a UX standpoint.

    Timestamping/logging notes - Currently notes are simply typed into an active text box in the reservation popup (under the "Internal Guest Notes Tab). These notes do not include a record who who made them or when, and are are easily changed/deleted, without any record of the change being made. It would be helpful to be able to type a note, then save it to the reservation, with a timestamp and record of who…

  11. Hostfully currently has a Guest list, but it is hidden deep in the UI.

    Within the guest's "Guest Information" page you are able to see a history of their reservations (Guest Booking History)

    However, you are not able to access a reservation from the Guest record or make any changes to their bookings.

    If the reservation records show in this page preformed like the pipeline records, this currently useless feature would become an extremely valuable tool, of particular help with guests with multiple bookings.

  12. As a VRM I would like Inbox to save a copy of my draft messages so that I can come back and finish the message later.

    Current message disappeared if I went to check another message halfway.

  13. Currently our emails sent to guests list the Company name in big bold letters for example "!@#$.LLC" instead of listing the home they booked.

    This is confusing to the guest and they suspect that it is spam. The emails are disregarded. All email interactions with guests should list the Booked home name.
    So top of the email should list your "Home booked"... not the LLC that the home is under.

  15. Would it be possible to adjust the hierarchy of the "Space" Section in the Hostfully listing.

    Currently this information is hidden below "Neighborhood" and "Interaction." It seems to me that it would make the most sense both organizationally and from a customer interaction perspective to have the "Space" section immediately following the long description.

  16. When a guest is booking a reservation, chooses location and dates, it takes you to booking page where a TOTAL Cost of Stay shows, instead of the base nightly Rental Rate. This may scare off many interested guests. You can "show details" which will outline all the cost associated with the booking, but we believe it's critical to have Base Rental Nightly Rate showcased at top where it only currently shows TOTAL COST for One or More Nights. Desire what hotels and airlines show when booking reservations.

  18. Change the minimum stay settings on the property so that when this is updated, the calendar gets automatically updated to these new minimums for the future. The one condition should be that any manually set minimums that are greater than the new minimum stay setting should not be updated, but otherwise they should be.

    I've had a couple situations where I updated the minimum stay on a property from 2 nights to 3 nights, but we still had 2 night bookings come in because I hadn't manually gone into the calendar and updated the minimum stays for future dates.

  20. We'd love it if there was an ability to add tags to photos. Use case for this is tagging photos with sections of the house. E.g. Kitchen, Bedroom, Bathroom, etc.

    If our clients are able to assign such tags, and we are able to retrieve them through API, we'd be able to create a better user experience in browsing property photos.
