For now, we're advised by Cedric that the Security deposit is not included in the total amount on the order page but when guests click Book now button > lead to process the payment > they will need to pay the correct amount with SD included. The reason why we don't include the SD is to avoid having a large total, but guests still need to pay for it.

    That is not an acceptable reason as it's still misleading to the guests. Why include the SD in the breakdown if you're not going to include it in the total. We…

  5. It would certainly be a handy feature if you could re-add scheduled emails. For example for us, I believe a reason one of the team may have deleted them previously is we were mid-transition into using Hostfully and we didn't want messages going out twice. I'm sure it would useful as well as circumstances can change in which information a guest needs and so it would be helpful to be able to re-add auto messages/emails.

  6. If I try to delete the security deposit. When I click on "update property" the security deposit is "filled" again. when I delete the security deposit and left it blank, it returns to the last amount after update it.
    So, when I put "0" (zero) it changed. I believe that the system should understand when it is blank, it is zero.

    If it is blank, it is zero or "not applied" for the property. It is not necessary an additional step to set the option to zero. If we left blank, system should understand that I don't want this option…

  7. Right now, one of our client's properties that we manage is listed at the bottom of the direct book site on the left side when scrolling properties. While our properties that we own are listed above. I'd like to be able to move this property up the left side that shows all properties.

  8. As an agency that lists vacation rentals on Booking.com, I want to ensure that the payment flow is SCA compliant. Right now, some payments from guests fail due to the integration not handling 3D Secure authentication and is not SCA compliant.

  10. When you are searching properties on the mobile view, the (next) page buttons 1, 2, 3 are ONLY at the top - they should also be at the bottom. Reason

    1) It is more convenient than scrolling all the way back to the top and
    2) When guests get to the bottom they think that is it

    Also, in the search bar, you should include a search perimeter for Complex or property descriptions. So if someone is looking specifically for a rental in "Sunrise" condo, they don't have to go thru 10 pages to find it.

  12. At the moment, we don't have any condition to filter out booking inquiry with unavailable dates so we can automate the booking inquiry sending process for those type of guests.

    I can figure out the template side, but not the trigger side.

    I get a lot of inquiries from non-Airbnb guests for dates that aren’t available at the specific property, but are available at similar properties. I don’t always manually reply until hours later, when it’s too late.

  13. I currently have a report called master owner report. I use vacation rent payment which takes a range of 3.5 - 3.99% for processing and I need that subtracted from the total payment before it is divided by 80% and 20% for owner and manager.
    the processing fee is not always 3.99%. it is 3.99% for American Express cards but 3.5% for all other cards.

    It would be great to have processing fee variable supports for payment processor VRP

  14. As a PM, I would like the note that contains the Hostfully UID to be removed from the Airbnb calendar when the reservation/block is cancelled or removed so that the calendar on Airbnb is clear.

    From the attached screenshot, the open date has the note Block uid=…., which is confusing. It makes me think that the date is not available while it is.

  15. Please give us the ability to change the font of the messages templates. I copied and pasted my messages I had stored previously, which are not matching the writing style of the variables such as guest name, and it looks sloppy IMO. Or give us the option to match the variable styles or reset to default maybe?

    Also, templates sent to Airbnb and Vrbo sometimes have extra spaces or line breaks where they don't show in the template editor in Hostfully

  16. Currently, the Financial Reports shows the Agency percentage as % of gross revenue, but our arrangement is based on the nightly rental only. This requires more manual work to produce reports for the owners.

    It would be great to pre-determine which parts of the revenue is split on a percentage basis (nightly rent) and which go in full to the Agency (say a management fee) or to the Owner (say cleaning fee, if the owner pays that).

After guest count (i.e. finding a place large enough for their group) the next most important thing to a would-be guest when searching for a property is that it has the amenities they are looking for. Right now, people have no way of knowing which properties have their preferred amenities other than clicking into each property and searching around for it in the listing details or photos. This is painful and makes for a poor experience!

  18. I would like to see all owners under the Owners Tab without having to click on the first letter of their first name or search in the search box. The search box and the alphabet option should only be a filter option when you have dozens of owners.
