  1. I know we can use the custom data to set data for the bedroom field.

    However, sometimes I need to only temporarily change our bedding setup (eg for a day or two), and so using custom data means I have to make an edit BOTH on the "Set rooms" page and in the custom data fields. It is quite inconvenient.

    Would you please consider having the variable for this property information so that when I update the bedroom, it will update automatically in my template, message?

  2. It would be convenient to be able to close conversations in the inbox so team members can keep open only the conversations with guests that are current or are having current conversations with. See example in screenshot.

  4. This seems a ginormous oversight on the part of Hostfully, which could be very easily fixed - by not pooling together Fee / Service / Resolution adjustments into the one variable "Fee adjustment", and instead having a separate variable for each so they can be pulled in report separately.

  7. for a direct booking on the website when people put the discount code, we see the letters in capital letters at all times but the system is sensitive to lower and upper case letters. We often have errors because on cell phones, the first letter is always capitalized and that always creates errors. No matter what people write, it appears in capital letters. If we make a promo code in capital letters, customers write the first letter in capital letters and everything else appears in capital letters without being so, and if we make a code in lower case, people…

    • Current behavior: To create a block on the app, users need to click on calendar > click on (+) button to create a block => Users want to create the block quicker by clicking on the date directly without clicking on (+) button. After you finish adjust the date > Save. The system should bring the user back to the calendar view without clicking back.

  12. Right now if you want to re-order or add a house rule that's not at the bottom of the list, you need to delete and re add the rules. This is very tedious. A simple drag and drop sorting feature like there is currently for photos would be very helpful.

  15. It would be highly beneficial to introduce a feature allowing users to create custom channels in Hostfully, beyond the standard ones like Airbnb or Booking.com. For example, users could add channels like "Reception Desk," "Travel Agency Partnerships," or "Corporate Bookings" to track more specific booking sources. Additionally, implementing color-coding options for these channels would allow for easy visual differentiation and streamlined data analysis at the end of the season. This added flexibility would make managing and analyzing bookings much more intuitive, especially for businesses with diverse booking sources.

It would be logical if and when a customer is making changes to their reservation, but when a Property Manager is making changes, on the back end, surely there should be prompts asking the editor if they wish to keep existing order and payment detail or adjust order detail to the changed property rate and/or dates? This seems logical to me. If you have multiple leads adjusting reservations for unforeseen circumstances and no warning prompt appears to the property manager when making changes, accounting's books would be a disaster.
