    Why SMS-based MFA is insecure

    While better than no MFA, SMS is no longer a robust security method. It is highly susceptible to attack because:

  4. In "Notifying the owner about new booking" template, I want to apply more variables about the order than the current existing one.

    E.g Rental Revenue: [{ORDERBASEAMOUNT}-{COMMISSIONOTATOTAL}+{ADJUSTMENTRENT}+{EXTRAGUESTFEEAMOUNT}+{PAYMENTPROCESSINGFEE}]

    But currently, the template variables only support some basic order details.

  5. Bookings from TravelStaytion should appear on Calendar as from TravelStaytion, not direct bookings. It does for Pipeline, Dashboard and Reports but it does not work like that for Calendar.

  6. Neither threads or messages have detailed info about the sender.

    In threads it simply shows the “participantUid”: “agencyUid” in the participants when the “participantType”: “AGENCY”. It does not show the actual sender whether the employeeUid of the agency, or it was a system response.

    In the messages response it simply shows “senderType”: “AGENCY” or “senderType”: “GUEST” but it does not show actual sender either.

    Please see the below examples. How will we deal with such missing links?

  8. Currently, Hostfully’s owner reporting system does not include escrow balance tracking. This creates challenges for property managers who need to reconcile funds accurately. Without this feature, teams are forced to use manual workarounds outside of Hostfully, which increases the risk of errors and adds significant time to reporting processes.

    Add a way to track and display escrow balances directly within the owner reporting system. Ideally, this would include:

    • Escrow balance fields within owner statements

  13. Property Managers need a way to cancel a booking and release the dates, but keep the original guest financially responsible until the dates are rebooked.

    If the dates are successfully rebooked, the system should allow applying a penalty and refunding the balance directly from the cancelled order.
    If the dates are not rebooked, the original guest remains responsible for the full booking amount.

  15. A PM would like to suggest a modification to the Pre-arrival Form. Currently, guests are able to enter any time for their Estimated Departure Time for the Pre-Arrival form, which may lead to confusion as they may think they can stay at the property until the time they input (even if it is past the designated check out time, such as 8PM).   16. it would be very helpful because owners that live on site or who have stays for friends and family without charging them still need to pay for cleaning that is required by for the next check-in. Without a custom fee that can be automatically added, I have to go back and manually review the calendar for all of those owner blocks and manually add owner adjustments every time this happens.

  18. Unable to alter Airbnb booking. Here is the situation

    We have a long-term booking on property A that we need to move it to property B (31 nights)

    At the time we move the booking, property B has availability but there is a past booking that blocks a few days on property B.

    That makes the whole long-term booking cannot be moved to property B while it has the availability at the time we alter it.

  19. Currently you can give custom title to reports, but when you send the PDF to the owners the file is downloaded with an alphanumeric values for file title. Title looks restricted to the report header and doesn't affect file name.

  20. The way pet fees are currently set up needs to change. Having “Pets” listed as an optional add-on before payment is misleading. It comes across as if the fee is a donation rather than a requirement, which gives guests the impression they can simply choose not to add it.

    This is not how a required fee should function. The system should prompt guests to indicate upfront whether they are bringing pets when selecting guest count. If they are, the pet fee should automatically apply as part of the booking.
