  1. If a template is configured in multiple languages and a trigger is associated with it (intended to send a quick reply on Airbnb and VRBO whenever there is a booking request or an inquiry) the message is currently sent only in English.

    The purpose of these quick replies is to maintain a high response rate on Airbnb. However, even though Hostfully allows configuration in multiple languages, the guest will always receive the message in English, regardless of the language they used to contact us.

    This behavior does not make sense, as Hostfully should be able to identify the guest’s language…

  2. Is there a way for the pipeline to show when a deposit payment has been made to secure the booking. E.g. if you booked a client in (not on hold) but they hadn't paid yet.

  3. Previously, when uploading images, the crop tool would automatically select the full image, allowing users to simply click “continue.” Now, the tool defaults to a square crop, forcing users to manually adjust or cancel and re-upload.

    This adds unnecessary friction, especially for users who consistently want to keep the original image format.

    Request: Set the default crop selection to the full image (as before), or provide an option to keep original dimensions without manual adjustment.

  4. Allow agencies using the white label to add their own custom chat widget alongside Hostfully’s existing support widget.

    This will Provide the ability to embed a third-party/custom chat widget within the white label app interface. Ideally:

    The agency’s custom chat widget would appear on the left-hand side
    Hostfully’s support widget would remain available on the right-hand side

    This would allow property owners to:

    Contact the agency directly for business strategy, operational questions, or account-related support
    Continue contacting Hostfully directly for platform-specific technical support

    Improving communication between agencies and property owners

  5. Airbnb just announced seasonal cancellation is available with their platform. I need a flexible cancellation policy during low season and a strict cancellation policy for my peak seasons. If a guest cancels a peak season booking, I am forced to discount to fill the space. This results in a lower revenue booking or gaps in my calendar during peak seasons.

    During slower seasons, I am ok with flexible cancellation policies to help fill my calendar.

  6. Support on seasonal discount for high and low season. It would be helpful if we can select date range for discounts to apply it on different season.

    For example, pricelabs which I am using now and they want my prices up over $320 a night high season and $154 in low season... we book in Costa Rica 6 months in advance for trips... people book ahead. so right now my monthly rate is showing $9000 when my competition is $6000... but if I put a discount of 30 percent on that now... anything I have in low season is going…

  7. When we sync hostfully with clearning accounting, we are showing a mis-matched balance and it is because hostfully is counting the whimstay platform fee as income instead of as a fee deducted from the payment. It is inflating our deposit

  8. Regarding local taxes - We can currently set local tax rates for Adults but not for Kids. In Hostfully, taxes can be set to apply per guest or per guest per night, but there isn’t a way to set a different tax rate for children vs adults.

    The booking flow asks for adults, kids, and infants because it needs to capture the full guest count for the reservation. Therefore the info is in the system.

  9. Currently, cancellation policy notes must be added in shared fields like descriptions or rental conditions. It would be very helpful to have a dedicated field where users can add explanatory cancellation policy text for specific channels only, especially Vrbo, without affecting content shown on Airbnb, direct booking site, or other channels.

An MCP (Model Context Protocol) server would allow those AI tools to connect directly to Hostfully data — pulling live bookings, cleaning schedules, revenue figures, and owner info — without requiring custom API development.

  12. Currently, when a guest completes the payment checkout flow, they are required to fill in personal details (such as name, email, phone number, billing address, etc.). However, this information is not consistently reflected in the Client Information tab of the lead within the system.

    Proposed Solution
    Automatically sync and populate all relevant guest-provided fields from the checkout flow into the Client Information tab of the associated lead.

  19. Allow users to create promo codes that automatically apply to a rolling date range (e.g., next 3 weeks) instead of fixed dates.

  20. Currently, only fees configured with a “per stay” scope are editable from the Lead Modal. Fees with other scopes (for example, per night or percentage-based configurations) are not editable, which limits flexibility when managing reservations.

    This behavior can be confusing, especially in cases where:

    A fee is not percentage-based but still cannot be edited
    Other fees (like VAT) may appear editable, creating inconsistency
    Property managers need to quickly adjust fees without adding manual workarounds

    At the moment, the only workaround is to add an adjustment or custom line item to offset the fee, which adds extra steps and reduces clarity…
