  1. Enable the ability to move a reservation from a multi-unit property to a standalone property.

    Currently, reservations created under a multi-unit property cannot be reassigned or transferred to a standalone property. This limitation creates operational friction when property assignments need to change due to availability, maintenance issues, or guest requests.

  2. Currently, the inbox search on Hostfully only allows searching by guest name or email. It would be incredibly helpful if users could also search by keywords within the conversation history.

    There are many situations where we may not remember a guest’s exact name or email, but we can recall specific words, details, or phrases from the conversation. Being able to search by any keyword written in a message would:

    Greatly improve efficiency in finding past communications
    Save time when retrieving important details

  8. I would recommend Hostfully to immediately search and show a drop down of existing guests after we start typing the guests' first or last name, to match with existing records. Usually when we need to create manual bookings, chances are they are returning guests. And after clicking the name we chose, auto populate the remaining fields such as email, address, phone number, etc.

  9. The calendar on the direct booking site doesn't allow you to select dates, view pricing or click on dates to make a booking and just seems to be for display only.

    This functionality (like the calendar widget), would greatly improve user journey.

  10. It would be helpful to allow conditional check-in rules, instead of fixed ones.

    Example:

    Block Sunday check-ins only if there is a same-day check-out (no cleaning available)
    But allow Sunday check-ins if the property is already vacant and clean

    Currently, the “Only Check-In On” setting blocks all Sundays, which is too restrictive.

  14. Can we create an option to choose the promo code to be valid for 3 reservations? That way, it would match the 20% off new listing promo on Airbnb and it could be applied to our direct booking website easily.... will help with marketing for booking direct.

    At the moment, there is no centralized place in the platform where I can see sync issues related to LOS discounts or other pricing-related data. This lack of visibility makes it difficult to know when something is wrong.

    Recently, I encountered two separate sync issues across different listings that I only discovered after manually checking my Airbnb listings.     Thank you for voting for the idea “Automatically charge Stripe balance payments (second payment) for US guests on Vrbo.”


    We’re excited to let you know that this feature is now ready for a beta phase, and we’d love to invite interested customers to participate.


    What’s new?

    When enrolled in the beta, reservation balance payments will be automatically charged via Stripe for:

    • Vrbo reservations
    • Booking.com reservations


    How the flow works

    1. A guest books on Vrbo or Booking.com
    2. The guest pays the deposit on the channel platform (or, in the case of a 0% deposit, provides their credit card details without an initial charge)
    3. When the balance is due, Hostfully will automatically charge the remaining amount via Stripe
    4. If the automatic charge fails (e.g. insufficient funds, expired card, etc.), we will fall back to the existing flow and send the usual balance due payment request to the…
  19. At the moment, we only have a system template "Hold reminder" before it expires. This message is automatically sent to the guest as a reminder that their hold on the property is about to expire.
    But when a hold already expires, the system won't automatically send them a message to say it has expired already and then suggest the guest about the available dates we're having or the dates they chose are still available

  20. Apply "Ignore tax charge for stays over" to the additional fee. In the meantime, when adding an optional fee under Fees and Taxes, we can add tax rate on that fee but there is no place to add the "Ignore tax charge for stays over" rule.
