Improved Post-Connection Flow for Channels/Integrations
As a property manager, once I successfully connect to a channel or integration in Hostfully, I’m redirected to a general page listing all available channels and integrations. From there, I have to manually click “Settings” or “Manage this Channel” to reach the property activation page.
It would be a much smoother experience if Hostfully could automatically redirect me to the property activation page right after the connection is completed. This would reduce the number of clicks and help ensure I don’t forget to activate properties, saving time and avoiding missed setup steps.

Do not modify prices when Adjusting lead orders
It would be logical if and when a customer is making changes to their reservation, but when a Property Manager is making changes, on the back end, surely there should be prompts asking the editor if they wish to keep existing order and payment detail or adjust order detail to the changed property rate and/or dates? This seems logical to me. If you have multiple leads adjusting reservations for unforeseen circumstances and no warning prompt appears to the property manager when making changes, accounting's books would be a disaster.

"Hold" a Property, but not Property Specific for a guest
It would be great to have a feature where we can put a "hold" in the calendar for a guest, but without blocking off the calendar. For mid-term rentals, this would be helpful to us as some people book far in advance and it would be best to place them in a unit that works better for our vacancy windows. Basically, we want them "on the calendar" without blocking any calendar dates for others to book, as the individual is flexible on the unit we place them in.

Differentiate the "Additional charge option" from the "Security deposit" on the checkout page
We used the “Additional Charge” feature, but on the checkout page, next to the security deposit it says (refundable). The security deposit is not actually included in the amount they pay upfront, so it is technically not “refundable.” Many guests contact us to ask when they will receive a refund of their security deposit and we have to explain to them that it was never paid, but is just an additional charge option we have after checkout if needed. Guests are often disappointed to realize this, thinking they were going to get $500 back of what they had already paid.

Default color for the Booking Widget and have it apply to all properties.
There should be a way to define a default color for the Booking Widget and apply it to all properties. Instead of having to define it one property at a time.

Allow to add photos to job details in calendar to send to cleaner/handy person
When you click on a job on the calendar, you can only add a note for the job.
I want to have the option to include the attachment to add the photos of the issue, so I have the details of the job needs to be done.

Ability for Property Managers to see the full list of jobs for each Service Provider
We would like to see Service Providers' jobs list in one place similar to how they would see it under their own portal. Basically, we want to go to one place to see the full list of jobs each provider has assigned to them rather than looking on the calendar where you only see a blue circle and have to click on each one to see who is assigned to what that day.

Grant additional access to the owners
have been having lots of owners with concerns about the owners portal as it is very basic and not showing much to them. On our other plattform Lodgify, they could see much more like fees breakdown, messages from clients, the jobs created etc.
Is there a way where owners can see Jobs and more info other than what they see?
I have set them up in full permissions and it is still very empty which is causing owners to not like the way we are managing it etc. Transparency is very important to us.11 votes -
Create a trigger with a condition to apply just to "upcoming bookings"
I would like to set up ne email triggers ot send messages 90 days or less to guests for a listing. However, I am noticing that if I set this new trigger up, it is sending the messages to existing reservations. I only want to them to send to new reservations as the message will impact the guests expectations and experience. How is this not a feature to control???

Ability to upload documents to Owner portal
I am looking for a way to upload documents to the owners portal. Documents that don't exist in Hostfully already. Each year we do a survey of the properties and give recommendations of things the owners improve, so that is an example of something we would like the ability to be able to drop in the owner portal.

Improve automatic reservation reallocation for overlapping dates
When a shorter reservation is assigned to a unit that later needs to accommodate a longer reservation, the system should automatically reallocate the shorter stay to another available so the longer one can be fulfilled in full and not halfway. This would optimize occupancy and help ensure that longer, potentially higher-value reservations are not blocked. Without this logic, overlapping reservations might lead to cancellations and penalties for hosts. Adding this feature would improve efficiency and prevent unnecessary conflicts.

Reschedule Auto 2nd Payment Balance When Updating Split Payment Settings
As a property manager, I want the auto 2nd payment balance to be rescheduled whenever I update the split payment settings on the property settings page. This ensures that payment handling for leads is automatically adjusted based on the updated settings, maintaining accuracy and reducing manual intervention.
Current Behavior: When the split payment settings are updated on the property’s main settings page, the payment handling for the associated lead is not rescheduled. However, updating the lead directly in the lead modal correctly triggers the rescheduling of the payment due handling.
