  2. Hosts using the VRBO integration through Hostfully are no longer able to file damage claims directly through VRBO as they previously could when not integrated.

    When not using an integration, VRBO provides a built-in host protection and claim process that is included in their service fee structure. However, once a property is integrated through a PMS (such as Hostfully), hosts are redirected away from VRBO’s native claim system and must handle damage-related issues through the PMS workflow instead.

    This creates confusion and concern for hosts, as it feels like:

  3. At the moment, with Automation V3, variables such as [$LEADARRIVALDATE$], [$LEADCHECKOUT$], and [$LEADCHECKIN$] are displayed based on the guest’s language settings.
    Would it be possible to also have an option to default these variables to populate English instead?

  4. Currently, group bookings require submitting pre-arrival forms for each individual sub-booking in order to mark the entire group booking as complete in the system. This results in duplicate efforts and is unnecessary since a group booking involves one guest reserving multiple rooms. It would be ideal if guests with group bookings could submit the pre-arrival form just once, allowing the system to mark the Pre-arrival form as submitted for all associated sub-bookings.

  8. We receive a text message when n integration is disconnected from our platform. However, the text message does not include the integration name which makes it very difficult for us to understand which was the integration that was toggled off. It would be super helpful to include the name of the integration with the text message. Thanks!

  9. The system template “VRBO Alternative Payment Link” is currently generating payment links for 100% of the reservation amount, regardless of the actual amount that should be charged. (e.g., 70% should be charged at reservation time) .

    The payment link should reflect the exact amount intended to be charged for that specific transaction, not the full reservation total by default.

  10. If a template is configured in multiple languages and a trigger is associated with it (intended to send a quick reply on Airbnb and VRBO whenever there is a booking request or an inquiry) the message is currently sent only in English.

    The purpose of these quick replies is to maintain a high response rate on Airbnb. However, even though Hostfully allows configuration in multiple languages, the guest will always receive the message in English, regardless of the language they used to contact us.

    This behavior does not make sense, as Hostfully should be able to identify the guest’s language…

  12. Previously, when uploading images, the crop tool would automatically select the full image, allowing users to simply click “continue.” Now, the tool defaults to a square crop, forcing users to manually adjust or cancel and re-upload.

    This adds unnecessary friction, especially for users who consistently want to keep the original image format.

    Request: Set the default crop selection to the full image (as before), or provide an option to keep original dimensions without manual adjustment.

  13. Allow agencies using the white label to add their own custom chat widget alongside Hostfully’s existing support widget.

    This will Provide the ability to embed a third-party/custom chat widget within the white label app interface. Ideally:

    The agency’s custom chat widget would appear on the left-hand side
    Hostfully’s support widget would remain available on the right-hand side

    This would allow property owners to:

    Contact the agency directly for business strategy, operational questions, or account-related support
    Continue contacting Hostfully directly for platform-specific technical support

    Improving communication between agencies and property owners

  14. Airbnb just announced seasonal cancellation is available with their platform. I need a flexible cancellation policy during low season and a strict cancellation policy for my peak seasons. If a guest cancels a peak season booking, I am forced to discount to fill the space. This results in a lower revenue booking or gaps in my calendar during peak seasons.

    During slower seasons, I am ok with flexible cancellation policies to help fill my calendar.

  15. Support on seasonal discount for high and low season. It would be helpful if we can select date range for discounts to apply it on different season.

    For example, pricelabs which I am using now and they want my prices up over $320 a night high season and $154 in low season... we book in Costa Rica 6 months in advance for trips... people book ahead. so right now my monthly rate is showing $9000 when my competition is $6000... but if I put a discount of 30 percent on that now... anything I have in low season is going…

  16. Regarding local taxes - We can currently set local tax rates for Adults but not for Kids. In Hostfully, taxes can be set to apply per guest or per guest per night, but there isn’t a way to set a different tax rate for children vs adults.

    The booking flow asks for adults, kids, and infants because it needs to capture the full guest count for the reservation. Therefore the info is in the system.

    This is not reflected in local tax rates and needs to be. Can this be adjusted? So we can add a different tax amount for…
