Allow search by phone number
It would be awesome to type a phone number into the "Search" bar and have it pull up the corresponding reservation, if it is in the system. We will have guests contact us by phone and it can be surprisingly challenging to figure out who they are/where they are staying.

"variable" for the next check-in date
Hello, is there a "variable" for the next check-in date? I am looking to put this in a message for my inspector/handyman, in stating the checkout of the current stay and including when the next check-in is, in case there is something to be fixed, he knows how much time he has to fix it.

Ordered Triggers for Last-Minute Bookings with Same Day Checkin
Property managers often encounter last-minute bookings where guests check in on the same day the booking is made. In such cases, there are typically two triggers:
1/ An instant trigger for the event of NEW_BOOKING,
2/ A time-based event trigger for BEFORESTAYSTARTS, which allows to fire after the check-in time.
However, when both events are scheduled for the same time, there is currently no hierarchy or guarantee on the order in which these triggers will fire. As a result, the BEFORESTAYSTARTS trigger might send a message before the NEW_BOOKING event, leading to confusion and operational inefficiencies.

Have the ability to send a notification that check-in instructions was not sent.
It would be really helpful to be receive a notification that the check-in instructions were not sent to a guest. This may be a little tricky because sometimes the check-in instructions includes extra conditions like, the pre-arrival form is completed, the rental agreement is signed, etc. So if a guest does not do those things, the message will never be scheduled, and hence, this is not a case of a failed trigger because the trigger is preventing the message from going out. Rather, it would be great to have a condition, somehow, that can be set so that the guest…

Time-based conditions for trigger "Booking inquiry"
We have customers that send inquiries and then don't come back to book. I'd like to send an automated email to follow up with them. This email should go out to customers that sent an inquiry but did not book. It should go out 3 days after their inquiry was made. So, if a customer made an inquiry and was sent a quote but 3 days later he still did not book, the email should be sent to that customer automatically (unless the lead was closed).

Able to skip the 1st first page and have visitors land directly on the second one without having to click the 'see all properties' button
We have a booking page, generated by HF, on our website, currently the flow is
- Guest enter the date > click on "see all properties"
- Then the properties that match with the search date will be able to shown.
- Guest can pick a suitable option from here to book with you.Is there a way to skip' the display of the first page and have visitors land directly on the second one without having to click the 'see all properties' button first?

Ability to have multiple Agency Logos
I was seeking to be able to use two different logos for two different properties I host (a different one for the listings under my third-party agency). It sounds like I can only use one logo in Hostfully.

i like make a flag or a color so when i look at the calendar, it shows directly there which booking is not PAID

Be able to set up time-based triggers to be fired for example 30 minutes after I receive an inquiry
I have auto responses set for bookings, booking inquiries, and requests to book so that my response rates stays at 100%. However, my triggers happen automatically. I would prefer they take place 30 minutes-1 hour after the question so that I have the opportunity to address the concern.

Keep responses to emails in the same thread.
When communicating with a guest, it would be helpful if the guest sees the relevant communication in one thread, instead of each response opening a new email thread.

Grant additional access to the owners
have been having lots of owners with concerns about the owners portal as it is very basic and not showing much to them. On our other plattform Lodgify, they could see much more like fees breakdown, messages from clients, the jobs created etc.
Is there a way where owners can see Jobs and more info other than what they see?
I have set them up in full permissions and it is still very empty which is causing owners to not like the way we are managing it etc. Transparency is very important to us.11 votes -

Character Limit Consistency Between Airbnb and Hostfully
- Public Name in Hostfully only allows up to 49 characters, while Airbnb allows up to 50 characters. I can't type the 50th character in Hostfully.
- Long Description in Hostfully allows up to 499 characters, while Airbnb allows up to 500 characters.

why would it not include cleaning tax? Can your developers update this so the formula correctly represents tax collected?
Cleaning Fee Tax seems to be separately calculated per glossary indeed.

When using VacationRentPayment, allow PMs to accept the bookings before charging the guests
If we use VacationRentPayment as a payment processor, booking requests get charged immediately. However, VRP does refund the payment processing fee on refunded transactions (if refunded within 48 hours). So the guests are getting charged before they have a confirmed reservation.
We need to change this behavior so that guests are not charged until PMs agree to take the bookings

Support HEIC photos file uploads
Support HEIC file uploads for listing photos. Currently I cannot upload photos directly from my iPhone as they are default in HEIC format. Once I convert them to jpg some of the channels like booking.com say the photos are not high quality enough. Supporting high quality HEIC photo uploads would save a lot of reformatting and mucking around on the admin side of things when we just want to quickly update amenity photos or photos of the local surrounding areas where we won't necessarily have the professional photography photos. Thank you.
