  2. This would support service providers prepare for the service to be provided in terms of materials required, documentations or expectations.
    For cleaners and housekeeping team, knowing the type of service / service name will have them prepare to dispatch X number of cleaners with X material.
    For check-in check-out agents, knowing the type of service Will have them prepare documentations, accesses, security deposit refund, etc..

  4. If guest pays 30% on their 1st payment, I would like only 30% of the payment shown on the reports. Currently, we could only split numbers based on the booked months (using variable {FRACTION_EARNED}) but it would be hard for me to pay the actual taxes.

  8. Currently when setting up a fee or tax with % value, they are only based on the Rent amount. It would be great if we could decide either Rent or Rent + Cleaning fee or the Total amount of the lead or whatever to apply the fee or tax

  9. I think most Hostfully property managers have guests from other countries come to the USA to visit their properties. When they book through Airbnb or VRBO, or other channels currency is converted for a smooth transaction. Using a direct booking site also must convert currency as we will have potential guests from other countries outside of the USA wanting to come visit our properties in the USA.

  10. Please consider offering a different booking window for direct website + hostfully booking widget vs other booking channels. For example in high season OTAs could have 2 week window and own website longer window to promote direct bookings.

    Alternatively, this could be achieved by creating blocks that do not apply to direct website.

  12. Basically I am just trying to find a hack to make your system authorize a credit card when a booking outside of 30 days is made so a credit card is taken. I like when the additional charge option is turned on for direct bookings but not for API connected. I am not interested in collecting a security deposit but thought it might be the 'hack' I need to get the CC authorization. If we were only on Airbnb would be fine since it wouldn't charge the security deposit but VRBO does and even set at $1 will add customer…

  13. A guest is prompted to sign the rental agreement each time they make a payment. This is an awkward customer experience. And inaccurate, since the rental conditions could have changed since they first signed and we need to honor the original agreement. It doesn't look polished for us to keep presenting the rental agreement to them each time, acting like we don't know who they are.

    So if guest already signs rental agreement at initial payment, they don't have to sign it a again for balance.

  15. At the moment, [$TRANSACTIONAMOUNT$] and [$TRANSACTIONID$] only work in the system template "Transaction paid in full" automatically sent by the system. If I resend this template from Inbox or use these variables in custom templates, they won't populate.

  16. For example: IF the guest is not reachable by phone or if they missed the channel messages, we can ask the guest to submit their passport copies via whatsapp

    And we have a follow up message to ask if everything is fine after they check in so maybe guest can share some photos or videos if they have any problems

  17. a guest has gone in to book online the payment has been taken and processed through stripe but the booking has not gone through. Dates are not blocked and neither them nor us have recived any confirmation. This is becoming a bit of a worry as it's 3 guests now. They have all said the browser was open for ages after as they were waiting for confirmation.
