  1. I am looking for a way to upload documents to the owners portal. Documents that don't exist in Hostfully already. Each year we do a survey of the properties and give recommendations of things the owners improve, so that is an example of something we would like the ability to be able to drop in the owner portal.

When a shorter reservation is assigned to a unit that later needs to accommodate a longer reservation, the system should automatically reallocate the shorter stay to another available so the longer one can be fulfilled in full and not halfway. This would optimize occupancy and help ensure that longer, potentially higher-value reservations are not blocked. Without this logic, overlapping reservations might lead to cancellations and penalties for hosts. Adding this feature would improve efficiency and prevent unnecessary conflicts.

  4. As a property manager, I want the auto 2nd payment balance to be rescheduled whenever I update the split payment settings on the property settings page. This ensures that payment handling for leads is automatically adjusted based on the updated settings, maintaining accuracy and reducing manual intervention.

    Current Behavior: When the split payment settings are updated on the property’s main settings page, the payment handling for the associated lead is not rescheduled. However, updating the lead directly in the lead modal correctly triggers the rescheduling of the payment due handling.

  11. When running reports, there are roughly a dozen "preset" timing options in a dropdown menu for dates, ranging from "Today" to "Last Year". It would be helpful, and very simple programming, to add an "All Time" or similar option there.

    Currently, this requires the user to select custom dates and then pick a start date sufficiently far into the past, and an end date sufficiently far into the future. The "All Time" option could either remove the time range parameters from the query altogether, or just select default dates of 01/01/2000 to 12/31/2100 or similar.

  13. We’d love to see some features accessible via mobile browsers, since our team often works on the go and the mobile app doesn’t currently offer full functionality.

    We suggest simplifying access to frequently used actions — like Add Transaction, Add Payment, Add Expense, and Owner Adjustments — similar to how Add Lead is currently handled.

    At the moment, some of these (like Owner Adjustments) are a few steps deep. Adding a dedicated button (e.g., next to Add Lead) would significantly improve workflow efficiency.

  16. In Pre-arrival form, I only need the information of main guest including guest name, age and email, not other additional guests. Imagine a villa with 10 guests, it will upset certainly the leader to fill the form for 10 guests, collect all names, emails, ages, etc

    However, when unchecking the fields First name, Last name, Age, Email under 'Additional guest information' section makes the fields for Main guest (first name, last name, age, email) hidden as well so we have to add the custom questions.

  17. Currently the field Security Deposit Received in the Transaction reports shows by default the Security Deposit amount on the lead instead of the amount received. For instance, if we have received 0 for the Security Deposit this field will still show the Security Deposit amount instead of 0.
    We need a field that will actually show the amount received for the Security Deposit on the leads.

  18. We want the owner portal to show the exact number and not rounding it up. You rounded up $1287.75 to $1288, it causes us issues and our owners want complete transparency. 2 +2.1 is 4.1 not 4 or 5 ... seriously

  19. the cancellation policy updating in bulk is only available for Airbnb and VRBO on the property main setting. The cancellation policy on fee and policies tab is not available for update in bulk.

    I want to be able to update the cancellation policy for direct booking sites in bulk

  20. So I currently also manage a hotel. So the multi unit feature is a potential fit.

    The current platform I use (cloudbeds) has a feature that allows me to advertise on metasearch on platforms like Google, Expedia, etc where people can see the actual pricing when they search and I can show up as an ad

    The platform currently supports multi-unit property publishing on Airbnb, Booking.com and direct. We are planning to allow multi-unit property publishing next on Vrbo, then Google, HVMI. The other channels (Expedia, Trivago etc) should follow shortly after.
