  1. Currently, BDC commission is only tied to the transaction level and the transaction must be processed by a payment processor. This means that reservations paid through payment by booking.com (PBB) or outside of the Hostfully system and manually entered into PMP will not show the commission in the report. I am requesting that the BDC commission be based on the lead level, so that it is always present regardless of payment status or method.

  2. It appears that all the vertical photos on Photos tab changes to landscape mode on DBS, result in the photo being zoomed in too much.
    It'd be great if DBS supports both vertical and landscape photos

  3. The new DBS is generating a very long property URL link.

    We need it to be shorter, as a shorter more precise link will not only make it easier to share with others, it is less likely to be considered a fraudulent or spam link, and will also assist with SEO.

  6. Using a channel manager has made things for difficult for me. I now have to handle security deposits, rejected payments, credit card fraud issues, collect- file - pay occupancy tax etc. All this was done by VRBO before I had a channel manager. Can you please get an arrangement with VRBO like you do with Airbnb that they will still provide those services even though we are using you.

    We are currently looking into this exact implementation where Vrbo will remain the merchant of record for connected PMs. Not that this work has a dependency on Vrbo and the APIs they are planning to provide in 2024 to support this.

  7. As a paying customer I need to have the information about my subscription charges, I need to understand when is the subscription expiring, what is my balance and how much extra I am paying for adding the properties. By not having a transparent information and not having access to it, I don't have trust to the platform, it is difficult to plan and budget my expenses. It benefits both users and platform to have transparency and
    honesty. This is critical information that should be easily accessible to the users

  8. I would like to display the amount a guest has paid in custom templates. Currently, I can insert Balance Amount [$ORDERBALANCE$], Total Amount [$ORDERTOTAL$], etc. but variable "ORDER PAID TO DATE" is not available in the list.

  9. I would like to have the message with early checkin request from Booking.com guests showing up in Hostfully inbox so I can manage them in one place. Currently, it shows in Booking.com inbox, but Hostfully inbox.

    There is an original message from the guest, and that does not appear in the Inbox. It seems like it may be related to a special request (about an early check in)

    "I'd like to request check-in at x - x (checkin date). Is it ok?"

  11. We do not allow Saturday check ins and we are trying to use the booking widget - However, it looks like our Saturdays are blocked off of our calendar, which will be a deterrent to guests from even trying to book.

    It’s not about the ability to block certain days, but on how it’s displayed on the booking widget to avoid the misconception that the days are “booked” already.

    For example. on Airbnb booking widget UI,

    • Strikestrough days=booked,
    • Greyed out= unavailable from host,
    • Bold black= available

    In Hostfully widget, all unavailable dates are greyed out, regardless of the reasons (booked,…

  12. Please change the name to help all owners! Discount code gives guests the idea that they should get a discount no matter what. Promo code gives guests the idea that there must be a promotion going on and they either qualify for it or not based on being a previous guest, time of year, special event, etc. They also are more understanding if there isn't a code available. Please vote! :)

  13. Add a trigger "same day checkin" for complex condition.

    I had a guest schedule a booking on the same day as their checkin, however, it was after the time period set for my checkin instructions to be sent to them. I had to manually send my instructions to the guests since my checkin instruction email is sent 24 hours prior to their arrival.

  17. As an agency that lists vacation rentals on Booking.com, I want to ensure that the payment flow is SCA compliant. Right now, some payments from guests fail due to the integration not handling 3D Secure authentication and is not SCA compliant.

  18. We are legally required to tax services and Add-ons, however, the service provided portal does not allow us to add taxes. Currently we're having to manually build taxes into our pricing for services & Add ons, then our accountant's have to break that information out when the reconcile accounts.

    In a perfect world, each property would have a "services tax rate" option, that would apply to any services booked for that property.

  19. Pre-Arrival form captures guests and sub guest information. I would like to have access to my guest as well as the people that came with them and their emails if that was filled in.
    I had to contact Hostfully to provide that information to me. The sub info was left out and needed to be requested each time I wanted the report.

  20. From our cleaners
    the list of "jobs" is now in date order (hoorah!) BUT is reverse date order and there's no way to load additional pages, so I can currently only see bookings from Oct 9, 2023 to Oct 9, 2022.
    More..."Hostfully doesn't let me sort at all 😆 But organized by date rather than by unit (and dates all mixed up within each unit grouping) is a step up. Once we can see all visits in this view I'll be able to see all notes, but for now the list only includes the 90 or so cleans furthest way…
