  2. Make all sections of a listing page as moveable widgets so that an operator/manager can decide how to order the information on public listing page. This will greatly improve marketability and ensure that the information that guests find most important is closest to the top. For instance, after "Description" should come "The Space," "The Neighborhood," and then "Other Things to Note" far below the fold -- closer to the House Rules Section.

  3. As an agency that lists vacation rentals on Booking.com, I want to ensure that the payment flow is SCA compliant. Right now, some payments from guests fail due to the integration not handling 3D Secure authentication and is not SCA compliant.

  4. We are legally required to tax services and Add-ons, however, the service provided portal does not allow us to add taxes. Currently we're having to manually build taxes into our pricing for services & Add ons, then our accountant's have to break that information out when the reconcile accounts.

    In a perfect world, each property would have a "services tax rate" option, that would apply to any services booked for that property.

  5. When a guest is booking a reservation, chooses location and dates, it takes you to booking page where a TOTAL Cost of Stay shows, instead of the base nightly Rental Rate. This may scare off many interested guests. You can "show details" which will outline all the cost associated with the booking, but we believe it's critical to have Base Rental Nightly Rate showcased at top where it only currently shows TOTAL COST for One or More Nights. Desire what hotels and airlines show when booking reservations.

  6. Under each agent message it shows " Sent via Email April 02 2022, 10:30 am"

    It would be very useful to have the agent listed here too. e.g. " Sent via Email April 02 2022, 10:30 am by <agent>"

    It will make it easier to track agent responses in the booking thread

  7. Right now, applying a discount to an owner or agent originated booking/hold does not change the taxes due from the original total. I could discount any amount from the nightly rate and the taxes still reflect the original charge.

  8. For now, on the rental agreement, the name of the property is the internal name. That can make guests confused since they only know the public name or short description of the property. Guests can also say that the name of the property they signed is not correct to what they booked and that would be a challenge for the property manager to show evidence that guests agreed with conditions in the contract.

  10. Integrated partners with VRBO and booking.com are forced to be the merchant of record but also forced to be instabook. This leaves no time to vet your guest. This is a receipt for fraud! The booking lead times should should be able to be set per platform. Moreover, the % due at reservation should also include a category to pay the remaining % "x" days AFTER the RESERVATION is made.

    Many of the original concerns leading to this request have been alleviated over the years.

    Booking.com now offers payments by Booking.com and we'll be rolling out request to book with them this quarter.

    Vrbo offers request to book as well.

    If we get more votes on it, we may consider it in the future

  11. This seems a ginormous oversight on the part of Hostfully, which could be very easily fixed - by not pooling together Fee / Service / Resolution adjustments into the one variable "Fee adjustment", and instead having a separate variable for each so they can be pulled in report separately.

  14. It appears that all the vertical photos on Photos tab changes to landscape mode on DBS, result in the photo being zoomed in too much.

  16. We already get the notification from each platform about cancellation through text message and email. What I want to have is the notification through hostfully. If we get any cancellation information in dashboard or inside of hostfully app or web, it should be more intuitive and easy to collect all of the information

  18. The receipt should show the actual amount paid by the guest and not the order total. If a guest has a balance left or has not paid for the security deposit, it is inaccurate for their receipt to include this.
