  1. Even though you can use custom data fields in the email body, it appears that you cannot use them i the subject line. This seems like an oversight.

  2. It would be nice to be able to designate separate Public Names for a property, depending on the OTA.

    Each OTA has different requirements/allowances for name length and special characters. Airbnb for instance limits you to 50 characters, while Vrbo allows 80.

    There seems to be no limit to the number of characters Hostfully allows for the public name, and I'm not clear what happens when the name in Hostfully exceeds the OTA's allotment of characters.

    1. Set the display order for services - It would be nice to be able to sort the order in which add on services are presented to the customer at checkout. Presently the order seems to mirror that of the order they are displayed in the "Edit Provider" backend, however, you cannot adjust the order (the are simply listed in the order created). If under property settings 100% of the payment is not collected at the time of reservation (i.e. certain percentage will be due x days prior to checkin), then pipeline won't show the option to "send balance payment request" until the payment due date which is x days prior to checkin date. manager should be able to send the balance payment request ahead of the due date and not wait for the payment due date to send the payment request.

  5. On the Property Main Settings page, add "Only allow Checkout ON" option, currently you can restrict Checkin Days but not checkout days without going to the pricing calendar and manually adding to each day you don't want to allow checkout.

  6. The pricing on the booking widget is now displayed the total of the nightly rate, including non-optional fees but it's said "per night" which is not correct, as cleaning fee is charged per reservation, not per night. There should be a note saying "all fees included"

An MCP (Model Context Protocol) server would allow those AI tools to connect directly to Hostfully data — pulling live bookings, cleaning schedules, revenue figures, and owner info — without requiring custom API development.

  9. Currently, when a property is updated, the webhook event UPDATEDPROPERTY is triggered, but the payload only contains the propertyUid and the eventtype. This makes it difficult for integrators to know what changed and which endpoint should be called next.

    I would like the payload to include more granular details about the type of update, for example:

    • Pricing update

    • Photo update

    • Amenities update

    • General property details update

    • Pricing rule update, etc.

  10. We have many returning guests or extending stays. Every time we have to fill all the guest data again manually.
    At the previous PMS systems we were use to just choose from the client database and it filled in all data that we had already inserted when the guest came 1st time.

    The system offered the list of most current guests with the starting letters that we had inserted or choice to search in guest database

  19. During onboarding we setup a 4% credit card processing fee to cover the 2.9% Stripe charge and the 1% hostfully charge. These fees are based on the entire amount of the reservation but the way that Hostfully collects only applies to the accommodation fare and nothing else. This fee rule was setup as "per stay", I have since changed it to "entire preservation" but when I did this the mapping drop downs for integration channels blocked out.
