  1. The system template “VRBO Alternative Payment Link” is currently generating payment links for 100% of the reservation amount, regardless of the actual amount that should be charged. (e.g., 70% should be charged at reservation time) .

    The payment link should reflect the exact amount intended to be charged for that specific transaction, not the full reservation total by default.

  2. The mobile app needs to become as useable as the website. We were previously with Guesty and we were able to do everything from the app that we could do on the website. We can't even cancel or delete reservations from the app so having to wait until you get to a computer, which can be a couple days if you work in an office, is just not convenient. I want to be able to create or add a listing, edit triggers and templates, etc.

  3. Have information for a returning guest save on hostfully (their name, email and phone number) for direct bookings.
    We have many returning guests and every time we need to add a new reservation made through whatsapp or call, we need to have their email typed again and their name and phone number.
    A dropdown list should be fine when adding a direct booking.

  5. Currently, using FRACTION_EARNED booking charges across reporting periods, including one-time fees such as cleaning fees.

    It would be helpful to have an option to keep one-time fees (e.g., cleaning fees) in the first reporting period only, while continuing to prorate rent across the reservation dates.

  6. Currently, scheduled trigger messages apply to all reservations or guests that meet the trigger conditions. It would be very helpful to have the option to create a scheduled trigger message for one specific guest or reservation only.

    For example, if one guest needs a reminder to upload a corrected ID, has a special request, needs custom arrival information, or is celebrating a birthday, the host could schedule that message for that individual reservation without affecting all other guests.

    Once the message is sent, the individual trigger should expire automatically.

  7. When Hostfully’s iCal feed is imported to Google Calendar, the event appears to end the night before checkout. This causes confusion for property managers and cleaners who rely on Google Calendar to see when a property is still occupied or needs cleaning.

    Hostfully exports the data correctly (from check-in to check-out), but Google interprets the event as ending on the previous night. It would be very helpful to have an optional setting in the iCal export that adds one extra day to the event duration.

Manual reservations should automatically apply the same pricing rules as direct bookings, including Early Bird, Last-Minute, Weekly (7+ nights), Monthly (28+ nights), taxes, fees, and any other configured pricing rules. This would eliminate manual calculations, reduce pricing errors, and ensure consistent pricing across all booking methods.

    Hosts using the VRBO integration are unable to maintain pet-related house rules configured directly in VRBO because Hostfully does not currently support the corresponding fields. As a result, pet settings entered in VRBO are overwritten during synchronization.

    Customer Impact:
    VRBO allows hosts to specify important pet policy details within House Rules, including:

    • Number of pets allowed
    • Pet size or weight restrictions
    • Additional pet-specific requirements or limitations

  12. With the new Promo Codes endpoint, we now have the capability to retrieve/manage promo codes. However, we are currently unable to apply a promo code when generating a quote or lead.

    The PM requires the functionality to pass a promo code when retrieving a quote, in order to accurately display the price breakdown to the customer and initiate the checkout process.

At the moment, when using ChargeAutomation to collect payments for Booking.com reservations, it is required to change the API setting for Booking.com connection so PM can view the CC details and charge it actively. It would be helpful if Hostfully can support automatic payments for ChargeAutomation with BDC (also for Vrbo and direct bookings).

  14. When we sync hostfully with clearning accounting, we are showing a mis-matched balance and it is because hostfully is counting the whimstay platform fee as income instead of as a fee deducted from the payment. It is inflating our deposit

It would be beneficial for service providers to view jobs categorized by type within the app. Although I manage multiple services under a single provider, the app currently displays all services together, requiring me to click on each one individually to understand its details. Additionally, organizing jobs by date could improve usability.

    For example, in the "Upcoming" section, there could be a main entry for June 28, containing subfolders for each specific service. Within these subfolders, the corresponding jobs would be listed.

  17. We are using the hold function for 24 hours and then use the autosend follow up to nudge the client that the hold is due to expire. This is very effective! However, is there any way the booking hold request quote flip into a new lead that can still remain accessible to book if it the hold has expired? This way if a client is late to make the payment, they can still book without intervention from us but it also releases the date on the calender to allow another reservation to happen if they are too slow.
