  1. Here are my payment setting under property main settings: 0% at reservation, collect balance at 30 days. Currently, the system template Balance Due is sent to guests on the due date.

    I want guests to leave their CC details at the time of booking to create confirmed reservations, then the system will automatically charge the balance on the due date.

  2. On Booking.com Extranet => Property => Facilities & Services, we can upload photos for the facilities we have in-house, which helps increase our listing score and get more bookings.

    However, this feature is not supported within Hostfully and can also be overridden by Hostfully. Every time we refresh the sync from Hostfully, all setups in the Extranet for Facilities and Services are wiped out.

    This is a critical issue, so supporting this feature would mean a lot. Thank you.

  4. Please consider offering a different booking window for direct website + hostfully booking widget vs other booking channels. For example in high season OTAs could have 2 week window and own website longer window to promote direct bookings.

    Alternatively, this could be achieved by creating blocks that do not apply to direct website.

  6. At the moment, Hostfully Inbox doesn't separate the guest thread per booking: it remains a continuous history of messages between guest and agency no matter how many bookings the guest has with your properties.

    I want only corresponding messages associated with a booking to show up when selecting a booking on the right "booking selector" of Inbox.

  9. When updating pricing manually it would be nice to have notes that remind me when school holidays are as well as events and bank holidays etc. Otherwise, I find myself reducing/adjusting pricing that shouldn't be changed.

  10. The idea is for our owners to see the entire amount the guest pays, including the cost of cleaning.

    We, as an agency, pay local taxes on the entire amount paid by the guest, i.e. the amount of stay and cleaning combined. If the owner sees a different amount, our settlements with him cannot be consistent and correct in any way. We would like him to see the total amount paid by the guest - for the stay and cleaning together

  11. Turnover rule for not allowing same-day check-ins/ checkouts because I don't want a check-out and check-in on the same day.

    Additionally, guests often request a late checkout and an early check in. Having the separation allows me to grant the request and still give my cleaners enough time to service the house.

  13. Basically I am just trying to find a hack to make your system authorize a credit card when a booking outside of 30 days is made so a credit card is taken. I like when the additional charge option is turned on for direct bookings but not for API connected. I am not interested in collecting a security deposit but thought it might be the 'hack' I need to get the CC authorization. If we were only on Airbnb would be fine since it wouldn't charge the security deposit but VRBO does and even set at $1 will add customer…

  14. Seam.co released a thermostat API to integrate brands like Ecobee, Nest, Honeywell...etc. They also integrate with other PMSs using their API to sync reservations with smart locks. A Hostfully - Seam.co integration would allow wifi-enabled thermostats to set temperatures based on guest check-in and check-out times, thus saving a lot in utility costs.

  15. A guest is prompted to sign the rental agreement each time they make a payment. This is an awkward customer experience. And inaccurate, since the rental conditions could have changed since they first signed and we need to honor the original agreement. It doesn't look polished for us to keep presenting the rental agreement to them each time, acting like we don't know who they are.

    So if guest already signs rental agreement at initial payment, they don't have to sign it a again for balance.

  17. I want to be able to pay utilities every month automatically through Hostfully. For one house, I have to pay 2 bills on a monthly basis, i.e electricity and internet). I want to control when it is paid and also edit the card details on the monthly payment. I want to connect the DEWA and etisalat accounts to Hostfully for monthly payments (these are the 2 firms to which I make utility payments)
