  2. Add "Short Description" as an available field to be used in Custom Templates.

    The only available property name in the Custom Templates field dropdown is the "Public Name" which is the listing description header. This is often too long or provides marketing language to attract prospects.

  4. Jane from Papagayo Luxury rentals would like a way to share a calendar report with her Concierge staff. The report would include the following:
    - Name of primary contact who is making reservation
    - Availability and blocks on calendars for given properties
    - Number of guests coming
    - This report should not include any financial information

  8. Currently, the rate multiplier only applies to the nightly rent. I’d like the option for the multiplier to apply to all fees (such as cleaning, service, or management fees) to offset Airbnb's host service fee.

  10. In "Notifying the owner about new booking" template, I want to apply more variables about the order than the current existing one.

    E.g Rental Revenue: [{ORDERBASEAMOUNT}-{COMMISSIONOTATOTAL}+{ADJUSTMENTRENT}+{EXTRAGUESTFEEAMOUNT}+{PAYMENTPROCESSINGFEE}]

    But currently, the template variables only support some basic order details.

  11. Property Managers need a way to cancel a booking and release the dates, but keep the original guest financially responsible until the dates are rebooked.

    If the dates are successfully rebooked, the system should allow applying a penalty and refunding the balance directly from the cancelled order.
    If the dates are not rebooked, the original guest remains responsible for the full booking amount.

  12. it would be very helpful because owners that live on site or who have stays for friends and family without charging them still need to pay for cleaning that is required by for the next check-in. Without a custom fee that can be automatically added, I have to go back and manually review the calendar for all of those owner blocks and manually add owner adjustments every time this happens.

  14. With the new Promo Codes endpoint, we now have the capability to retrieve/manage promo codes. However, we are currently unable to apply a promo code when generating a quote or lead.

    The PM requires the functionality to pass a promo code when retrieving a quote, in order to accurately display the price breakdown to the customer and initiate the checkout process.

  15. Currently, Hostfully only supports adjustments tied to owners and properties. However, many agencies also need to track and reconcile agency-wide expenses that are not connected to a specific property or owner.

    Examples include:

    Hostfully subscription fees

    Inventory purchases used across multiple properties

    Invoices paid directly by the agency (e.g., software, utilities, maintenance contracts)

    Having a way to enter, categorize, and report these agency-level adjustments would provide a more complete financial picture for monthly reconciliation.

  17. Would be great to see the tags in the view on reviews here, if you want to tell dev team for feature requests.

    if you have automated rating of guests set up, and guest is unhappy, we can add the tag so that we see in the review screen and cancel the auatomed rating and request for them to review us. The goals is we don't offer unhappy guests more reminders to review US and hopeully not get a negative review.
