  1. Is there some sort of report where we can see metrics on messages? Such as busiest and slowest times of days based on the number of new messages and inquires that come in, and how quickly they are being replied to

  3. We need a way of being able to pull through an adjustment that either includes VAT or not. At the minute everything pulled through doesn't show whether VAT has been applied or not. I have managed a way of setting this up but it is by default applying VAT to every input - frustrating and a fundamental flaw.

  4. It would be fantastic to have access to historical pricing data for the nights that went empty in our portfolio. Bonus: include pricing data for nights that were booked. Best would be to have a CSV download so we can do our own analysis outside of Hostfully. For booked nights, would be great to include the date the reservation was booked so we could see the impact pacing has on accepted price. The customer problem here: we don't have great visibility to pricing for nights in the past - if we priced too high, there's not a ton of data…

  5. Apologies if this has already been asked, I couldnt find it.

    Please can we add the filter option in pipeline "property tag". This is extremely helpful in the calendar view (so I can filter my properties by the location tag), and would be extremely helpful in the pipeline view so we can filter out properties by area managers.

    At the moment the manager filter doesn't work (perhaps the way our set up is), but it doesn't filter correctly for us.

  6. Please add the property name to the pre-arrival form when completed. When I receive the form information by email I cannot see unless I click into the link what property it is for.

    It would be extremely helpful as I am managing multiple properties with other managers to know who the form belongs to without having to open the link and then click through the tabs to check the property.

  11. Currently, the property photo section displays images vertically, one below the other. While functional, this layout can make it difficult to view the overall sequence or organisation of photos.

    We propose implementing a gallery-style view, where 4-5 photos are displayed per row. This change would allow users to better visualise the sequence of images, organise them more efficiently, and easily select multiple photos for deletion or editing in bulk.

    This enhancement would streamline the photo management process and improve the overall user experience.

    We are requesting the addition of a booking date variable in the system, specifically to insert the date of the first payment (i.e., the initial booking confirmation) into guest receipts and booking communications.

    This date is not only important for guest records and travel insurance purposes but is also a requirement under the Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) guidelines. TICO mandates that travel agencies provide accurate transaction documentation, including the date on which the booking or first payment was made.

  13. We don't get an email notification when booking.com sends us a message about our account. These are generally important messages that we need to be aware of or where we have raised an issue with them and they are responding. Unless we remember to keep logging into BDC and going to the BDC inbox for that specific property, we would never know we had the message.

  14. Currently, we are only allowed to offer percent discounts, or figure discounts to a promo code, but I would like to allow some of my VIP repeater guests the privilege of having a lower minimum night stay during peak periods, say, minimum 2 nights instead of my usual minimum 4.

  16. Since working with APIs is unpredictable by nature, in this case, something went wrong and the credentials in our system were not updated as expected.

    This is expected, as a lot of processes can go wrong, from network issues to database issues and more.

    This is the reason I think that cases like the one we are discussing are expected and we will face them again in the future. It is not anyone's fault, it is the nature of the process.

  17. As standard we take the security deposit/ balance from guests at 60 days before arrival. However, on booking.com their terms are different and the deposits aren't taken until 14 days before arrival.

    We would like a way to stop their balance showing as outstanding and 'red ring' on our pipeline until their payment is actually due
