  1. Use Vrbo as a Merchant of Record

    Using a channel manager has made things for difficult for me. I now have to handle security deposits, rejected payments, credit card fraud issues, collect- file - pay occupancy tax etc. All this was done by VRBO before I had a channel manager. Can you please get an arrangement with VRBO like you do with Airbnb that they will still provide those services even though we are using you.

    We are currently looking into this exact implementation where Vrbo will remain the merchant of record for connected PMs. Not that this work has a dependency on Vrbo and the APIs they are planning to provide in 2024 to support this.

  2. Stripe webhooks for cases when guests close browsers too early and payment failed to be recorded

    a guest has gone in to book online the payment has been taken and processed through stripe but the booking has not gone through. Dates are not blocked and neither them nor us have recived any confirmation. This is becoming a bit of a worry as it's 3 guests now. They have all said the browser was open for ages after as they were waiting for confirmation.

  4. Support HH:MM format for property check-in/out time under Main Settings

    I want to set property's check-out time to be 10:30. At the moment, the supported values are [0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23].

  8. Support vertical ratios/ images in templates

    Currently, Hostfully does not support vertical ratios in the email templates, so the vertical property image is cropped in a system template (Booking Payment Confirmed).

  9. VRBO Custom Rules

    Allow setting custom rules on VRBO. Currently no custom rule settings push to the VRBO listing and if rules are entered on VRBO instead, Hostfully overrides the changes and deletes them. VRBO is now charging hosts that cancel bookings due to rule or local regulation violations and we cannot enforce rules that are not communicated to guests. We have incurred $400 in fees this week due to this issue.

  10. Have only the Government ID field mandatory (not Government ID country and Government ID number)

    When connecting BDC channel in Hostfully, the pop up says BDC ID (7 digits), but some hotel IDs can be 7 or 8 digits.

    I need to have a variable to pull the available property with an agency web link, not DBS link for "Email Property List"
    As an example: for instead when an available property is:

  15. Manually add customer info into customer data section

    In the pipeline tab there is a Link at the top where you can "see all customers". I would like the option to be able to add customer info manually. This would be amazing for when I meet people in person that say they want to come stay at one of my properties and I could just save their info in their directly. I can then send communications directly from their contact page. This would significantly increase workflow and help with marketing, etc...
