  1. In Agency Settings -> Rental Conditions and Property -> Rental Conditions, add the ability to use template variables and HTML formatting.

    Some examples of how we could use this:
    - Use variables in the Agency Rental Conditions to include property-specific information, allowing us to have a single common text.
    - Include specific booking data such as damage waiver, number of nights, the actual guest name, etc.
    - The ability to format the conditions makes it far easier for a guest to read and understand.

  2. Allow setting custom rules on VRBO. Currently no custom rule settings push to the VRBO listing and if rules are entered on VRBO instead, Hostfully overrides the changes and deletes them. VRBO is now charging hosts that cancel bookings due to rule or local regulation violations and we cannot enforce rules that are not communicated to guests. We have incurred $400 in fees this week due to this issue.

  3. I got this error when trying to create new BDC listings from Hostfully. The listings are in France:

    TPAExtensions/PropertyTaxInfo/PropertyRegisteredInVcs is mandatory for this location(#321) - TPAExtensions/PropertyTaxInfo/PropertyHasVat is mandatory for this location(#321) - TPA_Extensions/PropertyTaxInfo/PropertyDeclaresRevenue is mandatory for this location(#321)

    The option to Set Taxation is only visible for connected listing. Thus, to solve this, I have to create a hotel from BDC first before connecting it to Hostfully.

  6. This feature would be an option to toggle a reservation where you are anticipating a bad review, therefore delaying your automated guest review from being posted to Airbnb until the final second of the 14-Day Guest Review Period.

    That way when it posts, it is hidden deeper in your listing's reviews if you had other guests stay & review within that 14-day period.   8. I want to collect the security deposit 7 days before checkin days, there's only booking time or checkin time available at the moment.

  9. Hostfully widget is a custom integration, this is why property manager cannot enroll in Chargeback Protection. Per this article "Stripe Checkout"  is a must

  11. When I change the guest email on pipeline > click on the send message button. I want the original thread (with the initial email) combined with the new thread (with the updated email). It should not open a new thread with no message inside. Thank you.

After guest count (i.e. finding a place large enough for their group) the next most important thing to a would-be guest when searching for a property is that it has the amenities they are looking for. Right now, people have no way of knowing which properties have their preferred amenities other than clicking into each property and searching around for it in the listing details or photos. This is painful and makes for a poor experience!

  15. My cleaner is working with 2 Agencies and whenever she logs in to the Service Provider Portal, she encounters an error. It turns out that Hostfully hasn't supported a Service Provider having more than one Agency relationship.

  16. I want to set up a minimum day stay over time.
    For example:
    - 70days before stay > minimum 3 nights.
    - 50 days before stay > minimum 2 nights.
    - 30 days before stay > minimum 1 night.

    The closer the booking time is, the lower the minimum stay guests can get.

    I'm thinking of this approach made me realise they are delaying potential 1 night stays to far in advance. to maximise the pricing of those dates. (just in case demand picks up closer to date due to any particular activity)

  17. Currently Hostfully aggregates a database of all guests, however the UX of this feature leaves a lot to be desired.

    Not only is the guest list hard to find, (you have to navigate to the pipeline then click “See all customers”), but guests are sorted alphabetically by first name (last would make more sense) and within the letter categories, the individual names seem to be in no discernible order.

    This could be a very valuable tool for rebooking guests, and looking up reservations especially if combined with the auto-saving notes from the guests booking and the ability to access reservations…

  18. Inbox Replies from Guests should ONLY include their reply, and not have the entire message I sent them tacked onto it. I already know what I sent them, as it's right below their reply. Don't need to have what I sent them included in their reply. It is redundant and messy.

  20. I would like to be able to run a cancelation report for the day a reservation is canceled by guest services. If I canceled a rservation yesterday for a July booking I would like to be able to run that report for yesterday and see the cancelation. It is especially helpful for PM using VRP as not refund shows up on the transaction report.
