  1. When Hostfully’s iCal feed is imported to Google Calendar, the event appears to end the night before checkout. This causes confusion for property managers and cleaners who rely on Google Calendar to see when a property is still occupied or needs cleaning.

    Hostfully exports the data correctly (from check-in to check-out), but Google interprets the event as ending on the previous night. It would be very helpful to have an optional setting in the iCal export that adds one extra day to the event duration.

  3. At the moment, when using ChargeAutomation to collect payments for Booking.com reservations, it is required to change the API setting for Booking.com connection so PM can view the CC details and charge it actively. It would be helpful if Hostfully can support automatic payments for ChargeAutomation with BDC (also for Vrbo and direct bookings).

  4. When we sync hostfully with clearning accounting, we are showing a mis-matched balance and it is because hostfully is counting the whimstay platform fee as income instead of as a fee deducted from the payment. It is inflating our deposit

  6. We are using the hold function for 24 hours and then use the autosend follow up to nudge the client that the hold is due to expire. This is very effective! However, is there any way the booking hold request quote flip into a new lead that can still remain accessible to book if it the hold has expired? This way if a client is late to make the payment, they can still book without intervention from us but it also releases the date on the calender to allow another reservation to happen if they are too slow.

  7. The mobile app needs to become as useable as the website. We were previously with Guesty and we were able to do everything from the app that we could do on the website. We can't even cancel or delete reservations from the app so having to wait until you get to a computer, which can be a couple days if you work in an office, is just not convenient. I want to be able to create or add a listing, edit triggers and templates, etc.

  8. I would like Hostfully to integrate with Revolut Business payment links.
    Stripe and PayPal fees are significantly reducing margins, especially for high-volume property managers. With Revolut Business, we can receive up to 250 payments per month for around €10/month, which is far more cost-efficient.
    This is especially important for selling add-ons, experiences, packages, and direct bookings. With Stripe fees, the profit on these services becomes very low and sometimes not worth the effort.
    A Revolut integration would:
    Reduce unnecessary transaction costs
    Increase profitability
    Encourage more upsells through Hostfully

  9. When manually creating a reservation, add ability to specify a different down payment then the default. The use case is to use when making a longer than usual reservation and offering the repeat guest a lower initial down payment....such as offering 20% and the rest 80% 50 days before check-in.

  11. Right now, many users add the discounts from the promo codes to existing bookings by adding a negative line item to the lead.
    It would be handy to be able to add the promocode on guest's behalf after the reservation is made.

  12. With the new Promo Codes endpoint, we now have the capability to retrieve/manage promo codes. However, we are currently unable to apply a promo code when generating a quote or lead.

    The PM requires the functionality to pass a promo code when retrieving a quote, in order to accurately display the price breakdown to the customer and initiate the checkout process.

  13. The Point Central Integration, generates the codes for the Master unit and for the 2 sub units, as well, which are 2 different properties.

    When the Master Unit is booked, the guest only received a code for one subunit, as it's the one selected in the lock of the Master unit, so the code for the other subunit is missing.

    The request is to create both codes for each subunit when the master is booked.

    In the meantime, there is a workaround shared by the PointCentral Integration Team:

  14. We need to have notifications sent to hosts when the guest has not signed the rental agreement. We have signature on the rental agreement as a requirement before check in details with the door code can be sent but there is no notification if it doesn't get signed. We want to eliminate the issue of a guest showing up to the property with no way to start their stay.   15. Create a dedicated onboarding form for owners to fill out, which the host can embed directly into Hostfully for automatic listing creation. Right now, the process is very manual.

    Alternatively, create a section in the an owner portal where we can send owners a link to submit all their onboarding information. Then, with just one click, the host can generate the listing using the owner-provided data.

    Overall goal: automate the properties onboarding process and eliminate manual work.

    But we noticed we can book properties for tonight in Vrbo, so this looks more like a limitation when channels are mapped.

    It would be extremely helpful if the Owner Adjustments Report allowed adjustments to be filtered, grouped, or separated by adjustment/expense name.

    Ideally, this could work in one (or both) of the following ways:
    • Add the ability to group or filter adjustments by name directly in the report
    • Or provide a formula-based/custom field option similar to the “Custom Fee” field, where adjustments can be pulled dynamically by name

    This would allow users to:
    • Easily separate different expense types
    • Total costs by each adjustment category
    • Improve expense tracking, reporting accuracy, and owner statements

  18. It would be helpful to allow conditional check-in rules, instead of fixed ones.

    Example:

    Block Sunday check-ins only if there is a same-day check-out (no cleaning available)
    But allow Sunday check-ins if the property is already vacant and clean

    Currently, the “Only Check-In On” setting blocks all Sundays, which is too restrictive.
