  1. Most properties prefer me to block dates for them, so we as property managers in the main (or principal) user, should be able to block dates and pick the option of owner block so we get the same purple color as when they block.

  2. The most important thing is to be able to see the profiles of those who search for us on Airbnb. We want to see their reviews and know that they are suitable profiles to rent our properties.

  4. Currently, both Hot tub and Jacuzzi in Hostfully are mapped as Hot tub on Airbnb. However, the Jacuzzi is a bathtub which has jets. This is different than a hot tub. There shouldn’t be a hot tub amenity and a Jacuzzi amenity if they mean the same thing.

To significantly improve calendar and mobile functionality, we request two key updates: 1) Implement an "Expand All Properties" button on the main calendar to instantly display all unit bookings, eliminating the need for tedious manual expansion and allowing hosts to quickly view inventory across the entire portfolio. 2) Integrate the "Rebook/Extend Stay" feature into the mobile app, allowing hosts to rapidly create an extension booking for current guests from any location, enhancing efficiency and improving responsiveness to guest requests.

  8. With the new Promo Codes endpoint, we now have the capability to retrieve/manage promo codes. However, we are currently unable to apply a promo code when generating a quote or lead.

    The PM requires the functionality to pass a promo code when retrieving a quote, in order to accurately display the price breakdown to the customer and initiate the checkout process.

  9. Enable Hostfully to automatically collect and remit taxes for direct bookings, similar to what some competitors (e.g. Hospitable Direct Premium) currently offer.
    For direct bookings, Hostfully allows users to configure and charge taxes, but the responsibility of filing and remitting those taxes remains fully manual.
    Automatic tax collection and remittance would be a major value add and a true “game changer” for direct bookings

  12. n Florida’s Gulf Coast, sea turtle nesting season runs from May through October. During these months, I’d like to automatically share turtle safety guidelines with guests by enabling a seasonal message trigger for reservations that fall within this timeframe.

    I think there are other templates that would benefit from seasonal triggers

  13. Currently, the inbox search on Hostfully only allows searching by guest name or email. It would be incredibly helpful if users could also search by keywords within the conversation history.

    There are many situations where we may not remember a guest’s exact name or email, but we can recall specific words, details, or phrases from the conversation. Being able to search by any keyword written in a message would:

    Greatly improve efficiency in finding past communications
    Save time when retrieving important details
    Provide a smoother workflow for property managers
    Benefit not only our company but also other users who face…

    Thank you Alex. So we are working on adding authentication providers and we'll start with Google first (sometime this month). It's hard to keep track of many features in the same ticket, so let's user this ticket for the Goggle authentication and feel free to open other tickets for the other improvements you suggested.

  16. I would love the option to archive photos without permanently deleting them, with the ability to unarchive them and make them live again. This feature would retain the captions and be especially helpful for managing seasonal photos.

  17. The calendar on the direct booking site doesn't allow you to select dates, view pricing or click on dates to make a booking and just seems to be for display only.

    This functionality (like the calendar widget), would greatly improve user journey.

  18. When communicating through Hostfully and it is a VRBO guest communication- I can't send a link to another vrbo property via hostfully. I have to go through the VRBO messenger.

    Thank you for voting for the idea “Automatically charge Stripe balance payments (second payment) for US guests on Vrbo.”


    We’re excited to let you know that this feature is now ready for a beta phase, and we’d love to invite interested customers to participate.


    What’s new?

    When enrolled in the beta, reservation balance payments will be automatically charged via Stripe for:

    • Vrbo reservations
    • Booking.com reservations


    How the flow works

    1. A guest books on Vrbo or Booking.com
    2. The guest pays the deposit on the channel platform (or, in the case of a 0% deposit, provides their credit card details without an initial charge)
    3. When the balance is due, Hostfully will automatically charge the remaining amount via Stripe
    4. If the automatic charge fails (e.g. insufficient funds, expired card, etc.), we will fall back to the existing flow and send the usual balance due payment request to the…
