It would be useful to have a "Send Now" option on Scheduled Messages for example for those guests who want their check in instructions early.

Would be great to have more variables for late checkout like extra hours, extra charges, etc... this would be used when a guest pays for a late checkout for example, when they pay for 2 extra hours, the confirmation email should provide the new check out time, and the total hours their reservation has now been extended. Seasonal extended stay discounts that work outside of direct booking.
Need seasonal extended stay discounts that work across channels. Currently only have option for direct booking. My property is in Florida - I want to market it for extended stay during down season only. I do not want the extended stay discount during peak season. For example - I just had a guest book via airbnb for a 13,000.00 discount using the extended stay discount set up at the property level on hostfully. Airbnb allowed me to cancel with a waiver, but they said the would not allow it again. I had to turn off the extended stay discount. I…

Different security deposits for different platforms or ability to change deposit after booking
Ability to control security deposit by platform would be helpful for platforms like Booking.com which sets a maximum for the deposit.
In our case, we usually charge $500 security deposit for direct bookings, VRBO, etc, but booking.com limits it to $300, which is communicated to guests at the time of the reservation. So guests are expecting to pay a $300 deposit whereas their reservation within Hostfully has a $500 deposit due and there is not a way to change it.19 votes -
Remove & archive blocks rather than delete them, add change-log feature to blocks
Currently when blocks are deleted, there is no record that they ever existed.
This presents an issue if a block is removed erroneously, there is no way to recover the block, or see when the block was removed or by whom.
Further, for active blocks, it is not possible to see who created a block, when the block was created, or if a block has been changed.
What I'd like to see is:
1) Blocks display what user created them and when.

Owner block should come over as a reservation, not a block.
An owners block should come over as a reservation instead of a block. You can even have custom messaging to confirm their stay or confirm cancelation of an owners block etc. This would make things more automated.

Inbox default to show all messages, not just relevant ones
I think either changing the default of the inbox view to "all" under that status, or giving the user the option to create their own default view would be helpful not to miss past guests or other messages because the system deems what is "relevant" and to change it is a manual process each time.

I think in order to not miss messages from past guests, the default on the inbox screen should be to "all" or at least an option to choose our own default view, so if you want to see "all" it isn't a manual process.

Add notes/comments section on the sidebar for each guest on the inbox
There's a lot of empty space in the inbox' sidebar. Having notes displayed in this section could be quite useful to keep track of ongoing work for an specific reservation and coordinating efforts in our team.

Need within the Lead_sql for return of CLOSED / CANCELLED leads
There is no return within the Leadsql CLOSED / CANCELLED leads.
This means we can't work fully with the Leadsql to our back-end connection.
All other statuses are present but these are not. This means more API calls and with the limitation within the amount of API calls per hour this will be a problem.2 votes -
Seasonal discounts for extended stay
It would be great to offer extended stay discounts that are seasonal so we may use them for the low season. We have interest from guest originating in cold climates to come stay at our property in Florida during the winter months. Currently hostfully allows extended stay discounts but I can not apply that to certain times of year - currently only appears to be on an annual basis. I just had a guest book our property using the extended stay discount during peak season which resulted in a 13,000.00 discount.
7 votesHello Richard, have you tried using the discount code feature we provide? You can create discount codes that are only valid at particular times of the year. You can decide to grant those codes only to guest who extend their stay, or any particular rules you'd want to apply.

Pricing Periods are not working as one in this industry would expect.
After going through this, I believe that this is a bug. I have brought this to Hostfully’s attention in the past, but I don’t feel like they truly understand what is going on here. It’s a bit hard to explain, but I feel that the images show the problem than the explanation.
Pricing Periods date selections need to match every industry standard when selecting date ranges – Our industry works on “nights booked” and “nights selected”. Integrate directly with Expedia
I'd like to integrate directly with Expedia from Hostfully to ensure my properties are listed there and not be charged commission through channel partners.
I understand some properties are distributed to Expedia if I am connected to Vrbo, though Vrbo can't guarantee that will happen and we can't request it. I can connect to Expedia through channel management partners, but they charge an extra commission. A direct connection would guarantee I am listed on that channel and save listings expenses.

Make jobs show up within the export calendar iCal feeds, similar to how bookings show up
I'm hoping to be able to use an external service like ResortCleaning which will read the Hostfully iCal but right now jobs aren't showing up within the iCal export.

Make more variables work for trigger "New Message in Inbox"
As a Property Manager, I would like to get as much information as possible about the SMS/Email notification upon receiving a new message. It would be better to know which guest [$GUESTNAME$] is sending the message, from which channel [$LEADCHANNEL$]/which property [$PROPERTYINTERNALNAME$].
At the moment, only these 2 variables work for trigger event “New Message in Inbox” because the message is thread-oriented. I want more variables to work with this event.

Require government ID for all guests in a booking party.
Create a way for all guests in the part to upload a picture of their ID. Some places require this. It would be great if the pre-arrival form could have that option to upload each guest ID.

Show length of stay discount on itemized total
Please include a line item in the computation that shows the long stay discount. Airbnb does this and it is helpful for the guest to see that they benefited from a long stay discount. Otherwise both the guest and the host are guessing whether the length of stay discount was included in the calculation.

Customized Report for Year-to-Date Metrics.
Very simply, I would like to have a custom report of year-to-date # of nights booked by property sent to my inbox on a daily basis. I need this to ensure I'm in compliance with municipality regulations.

Display Balance Outstanding/Paid to Date on Calendar
We love the new Calendar.
We find it difficult to know if all reservations are paid up. We would love to see:
- One the stacked calendar to display something to show if the booking is not paid in full.
- When hovering mouse over a reservation can the flyout show the Balance Outstanding and or the Paid amount.
- It would be great to have a report to filter reservations that have a non-zero balance outstanding. We spoke to the Help Desk folks and they say they cant have a condition on a derived field.
