  1. I would find it very helpful if the software had a spellchecking facility, whereby a word / grammer would be underlined showing the user there was a possible error. I have often rushed and responded quickly to messages to guests and realised after sending there was a small spelling error / mis-typed word. This can look unprofessional. There is probably one here!!!

  2. It would be great to be able to "replace" or "update" a single photo right at the photo you want to replace. This way I don't have to drag the new photo after uploading it all the way from the bottom, describe, tag it, and map it all over again.
    I'm always changing things out in a room and needing to re-shoot so my expectations remain as 'what you see, is what you get'

  6. It would be highly beneficial to introduce a feature allowing users to create custom channels in Hostfully, beyond the standard ones like Airbnb or Booking.com. For example, users could add channels like "Reception Desk," "Travel Agency Partnerships," or "Corporate Bookings" to track more specific booking sources. Additionally, implementing color-coding options for these channels would allow for easy visual differentiation and streamlined data analysis at the end of the season. This added flexibility would make managing and analyzing bookings much more intuitive, especially for businesses with diverse booking sources.

    We will fix this. Now, please note that, while most modern devices and SMS apps will display line breaks as intended, older devices or certain carrier systems may ignore line breaks and display the message as a single block of text.

  8. Ability to select which fields from the reservation you would like to hidde for example: phone, email

    example: think about that you are haddling a reservation from schratch and in between since the owner has his telephone number he calls the guest to ask if we did our job well or even to pass him through to another property of his that we are not managing.....can you imagine what can cause this to us?

  12. I've added tags to all of our properties and its great. I can now filter properties using the tags on the calendar etc. But I can't seem to filter using the tags on the analytics page where this would be particularly useful.

    • we can add and remove a chargeable service to existing boooking
    • have a payment link (Stripe) for an extra payment if required
    • and I believe refund is already supported through order balance when it becomes negative (I hope)
    • it has to work for any OTA, not only for direct bookings

    This is useful if you want to charge for early check-in or late check-out, for example. And any other additional services an agency may have.

  19. Task management 'complete' button for guest, team messaging.

    For example, a potential client with 200 listings based in Australia would like to be able to slightly task manage within the unified inbox. For example, a guest asks to replace something, the team can read the message, take on the task to do the job, and in the unified inbox, be able to mark the job as complete.
