  2. Ability to control security deposit by platform would be helpful for platforms like Booking.com which sets a maximum for the deposit.

    In our case, we usually charge $500 security deposit for direct bookings, VRBO, etc, but booking.com limits it to $300, which is communicated to guests at the time of the reservation. So guests are expecting to pay a $300 deposit whereas their reservation within Hostfully has a $500 deposit due and there is not a way to change it.

    Could you please provide more information, and maybe screenshots? We do not understand this request. In the Inbox, all the messages related to a particular booking/guest already appear in the same thread. Thank you.

  5. I want to be alerted when there's any channel sync error. Currently, I need to head to the Channels page and check the sync button to make sure everything is running smoothly.

  8. For last minute bookings, we send out additional documentation to verify the guest. I would like to have this sent automatically upon booking by adding complex trigger to say Booking confirmed-> when booking starts within _____ days/hours.

  9. When a job is scheduled, Service Provider/Cleaner gets email with option to View, Accept or Decline.
    Currently, only when the Accept option is chosen, will an email generate to give the PM get a notification.

    Can you please add a function so PM's receive an email when a Service Provider "Declines" a job ?
    Why? So PM's can assure the job is assigned or reassigned appropriately. When many properites & jobs scheduled, how do we check declined and unassigned jobs?

    Part 2: Can support add a function /section that displays "Declined and Unassigned jobs?

  10. As the logo is so small, if there's text in the logo, the text is often almost impossible to see. Also, it may help if there were a separate logo field to upload the logo image for the direct booking site on the direct booking website tab, instead of pulling it from the agency settings. That way, we could select a logo maybe without text .

When sharing a report / statement with an owner so that it appears in the owner portal, it would be nice to be able to name the file so that the owner can know which month the report pertains to. Ie, i would like to name the report "September Owner Statement" so that the owner can know which is which from the long list without having to open it.

  13. Currently, the Guest Database/ Guest Information page is not particularly useful, but some small improvements could make it an extremely valuable asset.

    One of those changes would be to automatically add information entered in the pre arrival forms to the guests info page, and/or linking the completed pre arrival forms to the page.

    This would allow us to better monitor our guests, and anticipate their needs.

  14. Currently you cannot send Airbnb messages via the Send Check-in Instructions, or Send Pre-Arrival Form; you will need to do it from the Inbox 2.0. In addition for Triggers you have to setup two triggers for every event you need. One trigger for Airbnb and one Trigger for all other channels. Ideally it would automatically recognize the channel as Airbnb and send an Airbnb Message or an email absed on the channel. This would cut triggers down by half and make it a bit simpler to manage.

While you can support sending notifications once a booking is updated, you are currently sending notifications to cleaners, guests, and owners for all changes made to the booking, including when payments are received which is not necessary. We need to notify the guests, owner, and cleaners when the booking has been modified such as when extending the booking or increasing the number of guests, but not when adding notes, or simply receiving payments.

    We will have a new trigger entitled "Booking updated | date change" that will only fire if the booking has a change of check-in or checkout date. Then we'll also have the breakdown of "Booking updated | check-in date" and "Booking updated | checkout date" to dissociate between a change on check-in date vs checkout date.

As a paying customer I need to have the information about my subscription charges, I need to understand when is the subscription expiring, what is my balance and how much extra I am paying for adding the properties. By not having a transparent information and not having access to it, I don't have trust to the platform, it is difficult to plan and budget my expenses. It benefits both users and platform to have transparency and
    honesty. This is critical information that should be easily accessible to the users

  19. When creating an enhanced report, Owner Blocks and Agency Blocks should be recognized as reservations or its own separate category that can be included in the report. This is very critical when looking at financials and occupancy.
