    What kind of setting would you need for this app notification mgmt feature?

    - type of app notification: new lead, new message

    - filter to specific channels, specific properties, ...?

  5. When a potential guest looks at my nightly rate and breakdown on VRBO or DBS it only shows them a nightly rate because all of the fees are distributed into that nightly rate. Taxes can be shown separately, I have no issue with that

  7. Make all sections of a listing page as moveable widgets so that an operator/manager can decide how to order the information on public listing page. This will greatly improve marketability and ensure that the information that guests find most important is closest to the top. For instance, after "Description" should come "The Space," "The Neighborhood," and then "Other Things to Note" far below the fold -- closer to the House Rules Section.

  8. When a guest is booking a reservation, chooses location and dates, it takes you to booking page where a TOTAL Cost of Stay shows, instead of the base nightly Rental Rate. This may scare off many interested guests. You can "show details" which will outline all the cost associated with the booking, but we believe it's critical to have Base Rental Nightly Rate showcased at top where it only currently shows TOTAL COST for One or More Nights. Desire what hotels and airlines show when booking reservations.

  9. Currently you cannot see if triggers/custom template apply to a certain property without opening the custom template.

    A view within the property itself to see which triggers are associated with it would make it very quick.

  10. There are a suite of additional settings within Airbnb that are NOT accessible via Hostfully. Things like weekly and monthly discounts, pre-booking message, creating a customized listing link can only be modified by un-syncing the listing and editing it through Airbnb.

  11. Tracking of messages and quotes sent. It would be very helpful if we can know if messages and quotes have been successfully delivered and opened, like what Mailchimp does. I am new but have not successfully gotten a booking from a quote being sent, so knowing if the messages are going to spam or inbox and evened opened would be helpful, so message content or title can be changed to increase views.

  12. Right now, applying a discount to an owner or agent originated booking/hold does not change the taxes due from the original total. I could discount any amount from the nightly rate and the taxes still reflect the original charge.

  13. For now, on the rental agreement, the name of the property is the internal name. That can make guests confused since they only know the public name or short description of the property. Guests can also say that the name of the property they signed is not correct to what they booked and that would be a challenge for the property manager to show evidence that guests agreed with conditions in the contract.

  15. Integrated partners with VRBO and booking.com are forced to be the merchant of record but also forced to be instabook. This leaves no time to vet your guest. This is a receipt for fraud! The booking lead times should should be able to be set per platform. Moreover, the % due at reservation should also include a category to pay the remaining % "x" days AFTER the RESERVATION is made.

    Many of the original concerns leading to this request have been alleviated over the years.

    Booking.com now offers payments by Booking.com and we'll be rolling out request to book with them this quarter.

    Vrbo offers request to book as well.

    If we get more votes on it, we may consider it in the future

  16. If owners can create recurring monthly/weekly expenses one time and those are added automatically to the monthly statement and reports for the owners (except when they are manually removed), it will cut down a lot of manual expense adding every month for owners and property managers.

  18. When we send text messages to potential clients with links to our listings, the Hostfully logo appears instead of our company’s logo.

    It would be really helpful if we could update this so that the agency logo logo appears in these communications.

    This would enhance branding and make presentations to clients more professional.

  20. Currently, BDC commission is only tied to the transaction level and the transaction must be processed by a payment processor. This means that reservations paid through payment by booking.com (PBB) or outside of the Hostfully system and manually entered into PMP will not show the commission in the report. I am requesting that the BDC commission be based on the lead level, so that it is always present regardless of payment status or method.
